On a a Sunday around 1230 pm my wife and I were out for a ride and we decided to stop by a brewery for a lunch/snack and beer. The building that house’s Upper Depot Brewing is an old train station. There is seating outside on the patio that consists of tables with umbrellas. Inside there is bar and tables. Looks like there are several levels although I didn’t go upstairs to check it out. Wife and I liked our choices of beer and enjoyed them on the patio. Being Sunday around lunchtime it wasn’t busy and we had our choice of tables. I had an IPA. Not brewery’s fault since they don’t own the food truck but we were disappointed the the food truck wasn’t open yet - looked like they were in the process of opening - but we were hungry so we left after our one beer. Nice location and would have been cool to see a train go by on the tracks that run alongside the old station. Only negative is the parking. No parking lot and I’m not sure if parking is allowed in front of the brewery. We will be back to try a few more beers.

This brewery is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the laid-back yet vibrant atmosphere sets the perfect tone for a great time. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a fun spot to hang out, this place delivers. The beer selection is fantastic—something for every palate, from crisp lagers to bold IPAs and smooth stouts. Each brew is packed with flavor and clearly crafted with care. If you’re unsure what to try, the friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to offer recommendations. Beyond the drinks, the vibe is top-notch—spacious seating, great music, and a welcoming crowd. Whether you’re here for a casual night out or a weekend hangout, you’ll want to keep coming back. Highly recommend! đŸ»

I live in AZ and this is the 3rd year I have come back to visit dear friends and do so around the Upper Depot Brewing's Octoberfest. Sure the renovated train station is a wonderfully developed space, the outdoor deck and patio are a great place to share a brew, but it is the delightful and flavorful beers and the warm, kind, and engaging staff that makes this establishment stand out. From thousands of miles away, it feels like a home spot and my palate never lacks for being pleased with the brews. They are committed to their craft and to the local community. It is always a treat to come visit. Here's to the continued growth of the Octoberfest festival to becoming a "must do" on everyone's fall calendar.
