Greek Cove - Long Beach — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

My husband, and I, had food delivered, from this superb restaurant. The large Greek salad, which we shared, was very fresh, and delicious. It had grape leaves, chopped Romaine, cucumbers, lots of large chunks of feta cheese, red onions, and tomatoes. We had two protein add-ons, falafel balls, and salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection, juicy, and a delight to eat. The falafel balls were the best that I have ever had. In fact, whenever we order this restaurant’s falafel sandwiches, the falafels are mouth-watering good, and the sandwiches are chock full of lettuce, tomatoes, tahini, and hummus. The chef, and owner, take great pride in what is offered to the public. The restaurant aims to please, and it always, consistently succeeds. My husband and I are vegetarians, and we often order the lentil soup. It is a vegan broth of savory vegetables. Everything we have sampled from “ The Greek Cove”, in Long Beach, has been wonderful. Ordered delivery from Greek Cove in Long Beach. Got a text message from the driver that an item Ordered was missing because they had run out. The driver then left the order at the side door apartment of my house but didn't say he had left it there. After another 20 minutes the girl downstairs texted that there was food outside her door. When we finally took it inside, a 2nd item was missing. So now, food was missing and what we had was cold. I called the restaurant, the manager said he would take it off the bill at 9pm when they settled up for the night. They didn't. I also sent an email 3 days later after the full charge appeared on my credit card statement and have yet to hear back from them. Do not order delivery from this place. Went to pick up food, it was ready on time and hot. Decided to check the order bc my gf can't have bread. Ordered burger no bun but to my chagrin upon checking saw a bun on the burger. Needless to say i was annoyed (lack of patience has followed me around my entire life). I pointed this out to the staff and they went and prepared a new burger. Still annoyed at the additional wait time, I sat and pouted. As 5 min grew to 10 and then 15 I started pacing and walked towards a display of cans which had a few beers. Sensing my disappointment the boss said "hey I'm sorry for the wait, can I get you one". Immediately I was overcome with gratitude and accepted. Long story short, management cared about an inpatient guy and made everything better. Hats off to Greek Cove....
