Panda Garden — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

Another good dinner from the Panda. There are a lot of good Chinese restaurants in Long Beach, this is one of my favorites. I called for delivery and Jaden answered. I went through an order with all kinds of changes to menu items because my kids are picky and I'm trying to cut down on sodium. He gave me some cool suggestions and it worked out. Keep in mind some of these dishes were modified a bit (some ingredients were left out or replaced with other ones). But here's what we got tonight and it was good. Orange Beef Gyoza dumplings Chow Mei fun Hot and sour soup *homemade iced tea - tastes real good, loaded with sugar

Tip: put some of the Mei fun noodles in the hot and sour...

When I look for some regular traditional Chinese takeout and nothing hybrid or overpriced, Panda Garden definitely comes through. I usually order delivery, and the woman on the phone is always pleasant and never seems rushed as we all know many take out places can seem. I've picked up from there in the past and do see that they have ample seating-more than a smaller takeout place would have. The food itself has always been good, and my regular selections have been wonton soup, spare ribs (with the bone), sesame chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, and fried chicken wings. New here in LB and just ordered from Panda Garden. I'm pretty picky with my chinese food since my old place was so good. Panda Garden was excellent. The food tasted amazing and was better than I expected. I'm definitely pleased and will go back. Just for reference I ordered pork fried rice, vegetables in brown sauce, and General Tso Chicken. Everything was great and the order was ready quickly. My only knock is, comparatively speaking, the price was higher than most places. For quality good tasting food in my opinion it...
