This will be long so apologies first off. I Ordered a cake for my 4 yr old grand nieces birthday to be delivered since COVID I could not be there , I live in Philadelphia suburbs. I called 3 days ahead and gave them all the info. They first argued that the address didn’t exist then changed their mind after a bit of confusion with the sales girl. The cake was to be delivered at 3 I get a call at 3:15 that they are running late by 45 minutes. The shop is 10 minutes from the house?? Once the cake arrived 1 hr. late. it said HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY ‘CANDLE’ not my nieces name. I actually never heard anyone called candle and the picture of the monkey on the cake would give anyone especially a 4 yr old a nightmare! It was the worst thing I had ever seen. Thinking this would be the centerpiece of the table it was kept in the box so not to scare anyone. I called to complain once I found out about this and the salesgirl said next time I’m in the shop they would give me a discount. I live in PA! She then said there was some confusion concerning the cake. My order was chocolate cake chocolate icing with a monkey and happy 4th birthday nieces name. Not sure how that can get mixed up or confused! Absolutely no customer service skills or decorating skills. I didn’t taste the cake but don’t think I would go to this.bakery even if I lived...
Read moreI used to be a customer of this bakery but I stopped being one because on 2 occasions I saw that the old cakes are kept moist with water or milk, at first it is not very noticeable but after several days it is, and I decided to stop buying without any comment but yesterday I bought a Surprise box of this place in an app, first of all, the man treated me as if I was begging him and not buying, But the worst of all is that among the pantries it included an old and rotten churro, it was wet on one side, which reminded me of old cakes, and when I took it to try it it smelled rotten and obviously the dough was hard from old age. I previously overlooked old cakes moistened with water because although they lost their flavour they were not something that would spoil but not a rotten churro!!! They could be the best in New Rochelle, for many reasons, but they are the worst. I should report them and ask them to pay you a surprise visit, I have received food that is not fresh but rotten for the first time and to make matters worse, he took the churro from the tray that is in the showcase, I mean it wasn't hidden, it was with the churros that maybe weren't damaged yet. Honestly this place...
Read moreI happened to pass by the bakery yesterday and decided to go in. I was delighted to see the varieties of pastries they had. The bakery is organized, clean and smells so good. It took me some time to finally decide what to get. I was even talking with another client about how we wanted to get it all. I got myself a pumpkin spice coffee and two almond custard eclairs. I then decided to order a cake for my son’s bday. The cashier was pleasant and informative. I ordered an oreo cake. As soon as I left, i tried the almond eclairs. I devoured it. It is not too sweet and you can taste the almond. It was perfect. A few minutes later, I decided to come back and ordered the oreo piece of cake for my son. His words were “Mom, this tastes so good”. I am very happy with this bakery and cant wait to try the cake I ordered. This bakery is the...
