Ok. Let me start with their customer service !!! They are extremely courteous and accommodating. I was very specific about my meal and the gentleman called me back to confirm he was preparing it correctly. I was ordering for myself and my husband. The lady that made the deliver was very quick and they took very well care of the food. It was packaged very well.
Ok. The food. THE BEST AROUND. I don’t eat meat and so it is hard to find places that will compensate for it. I have tried maybe every Mexican place around and this place by far outdoes their competitors. I ordered tostadas without meat and it was prepared so deliciously and with a very nice portion of avocado. They placed the tostadas on top of spinach and that kept them fresh. They were NOT soggy. In other places they simply put it in the container and by the time you get them the tostada is pretty soggy. They placed orange slices next to them and even the oranges were good. The portion was plenty !! My husband had the same with chicken and he said they were amazing. We also ordered tamarind agua frescas (juice) and it was delicious. For five bucks you get a 32 oz which is very very inexpensive compared to other places. I would all around give them five stars!!! You will not regret...
Read moreWow simply said this has to be one of NY's best Mexican restaurants. Located in New Rochelle on Main Street directly on a corner is the amazing find. Small place and limited seating but WOW the food amazing. Clean, Flavorful, great portions and ok prices. The quality of the flavor is what really got me here. From the chicken al pastor or steak to the tacos the shrimps or the enchiladas all tasting amazing. The hot sauces were fabulous and the party begins as soon as you sit down when they bring out their home baked chips and salsa to start before the meal. The drinks also on top level get the pineapple drink or the lemonade all were so fresh and delicious. If you love Mexican food and are in the New Rochelle area this is where you need to go. ...
Read moreStopped in for a quick bite before a movie. Was greeted immediately but the service was lacking since folks that came in after us got quicker service. I was very disappointed from the beginning due to the flour tortilla chips and two bowls of salsa, one which looked like pico de Gallo that was oddly sweet and then a bowl salsa that was so spicy I had trouble swallowing it. The dishes were just “ok” and not authentic at all. I’m used to real Mexican food and should have left when I saw there was no barbacoa, lengua, or cecina on the menu. I don’t eat the lengua but it authentic... I didn’t even see jarritos as drink option or horchata. I didn’t make a big deal about it, but they will only get my money once. I would not recommend...
