Lineas de Naska Restaurant — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

Very bad experience. I’ve ordered from this place plenty of times. Enough to know what their standard is. But tonight was different. I usually order the Lomo saltado or Pollo saltado. But tonight I decided to venture away and order chicharrón de pollo for takeout. After I arrived home I took it out the bag and saw a more than half empty container of chicken. It also comes with a side of fried yuca that’s included in the container so there’s actually less chicken than it seems. When I called to complain they told me to stop by tomorrow for another meal I told them that wasn’t good enough I needed the meal today. I was hungry now. They said they’d call me back and never did. The server was attentive when we arrived. We ordered the Parrillada Nazca which was advertised as having pork chops, we only received ONE pork chop. The menu advertised this dish to come with 2 side orders but we were told by our waitress that refers to the corn and potatoes it comes with and if we wanted a side of rice or beans or any of their other side dishes we would have to pay extra. About the sides that did come with the dish: it was two razor thin slices of Peruvian corn that had about 16 kernels each and literally one medium Idaho potato that was cut into 4 pieces. The food is amazing, but the service is absolutely terrible. There is no organization within the waitresses. We were told that there was an hour wait to be seated with available tables in sight. Orders were taken, but after giving us our nachos to snack on before the appetizer, and entree arrived; no drinks were given. My boyfriend and I had to ask for utensils after sitting there with our food way longer than we should have. Once done, we offered the check right away, and was told to hang on to it.
