Where to begin? This location is frequently "cash only". But you can't call them to find out if they are accepting cards that day because the phone number listed on Google and the corporate website is not in service and there are no alternate numbers listed anywhere.
If you order through the app you can use your card, but you risk paying for items they no longer carry even though it's still on the menu at every other Wendy's, or just out of stock. Not sure if they have the ability to update the app to reflect their lack of inventory but if so, they don't do it.
If you order something through the app and they don't have it, they will not issue a refund. They will try to get you to accept something you didn't order in exchange for the item you wanted, but if you would rather have your money back than accept food you will not eat, you are SOL. You have the ability to change your order until they process it, but they will process the order before telling you that they are out of things and leave you stuck.
They have decided to discontinue the Big Bacon Cheddar sandwiches here, so don't order those in the app if you want the cheddar bun. If you get any extra add ons to your meal, check and make sure they actually added it before you leave, because chances are they did not. I would imagine the same carelessness extends to requests to remove certain ingredients as well.

Recently in the past few months my husband has had not so great experiences for ordering for our family, and I myself as a personal shopper- shopping for my customers have had sub-par experience at the Oswego NY location. More times than not we have not gotten all what we ordered accurately, and dine in recently says "cash only"... what?? That's terribly inconvenient for families in 2022. I normally go through the drive through for my customers and several times have not gotten receipts. The most recent time, I went into the store after going through the drive through, and asked for a receipt print out, to which the reply was that they don't have receipt paper. Get it together Oswego Wendy's. Please. I went to another location an hour away in Auburn, NY and had a 5 star plus experience, so I know it can be done. This is on management to make sure credit cards can be used in the dining area and receipts can be printed for everyone. So we can leave honest feedback on...
Read moreI was in the drive thru...got to the window ...no one was in the rear view mirror...I was given my soda and I paid using a card. I was told to move forward because the fries were not ready. I said no, I will wait here. The young girl then told me that there drive time numbers will be affected so I have to move forward. I told her I dont care about your numbers. She insisted I was being rude and she didnt have to serve me....then the manager came and tried to get me to pull ahead, and when I refused he gave me a refund. As I was leaving I did notice a customer was just then pulling around behind me. So the moral of the story is they are more concerned about their drive thru numbers than making the customer happy. At least I got a free coke... and a place that I will not recommend to others or visit myself....good job...
