Ludwig's Center Stage Cafe — Restaurant in City of Rochester

My fiancée and a few coworkers got lunch at Ludwig’s tent during Midtown Eats. They ordered chicken and waffries. After eating the fries, and taking the first bite of chicken, she realized the chicken was not cooked at all. The entire chicken was RAW! When she returned to the tent, the women just put her hand out and asked what she want instead. A refund was all that was wanted. While she got her refund, she watched them continue to serve the chicken and fries!!! They told my fiancée that they ordered the wrong kind of chicken. They assumed it was precooked. Are they not checking the temperature of the meat before serving?!?! They flash fried raw chicken in the same fryer as the french fries they continued to serve. Did they cook the chicken to the right temperature for everyone else that got this? This was one of the most disturbing and disgusting experiences my fiancée and I have ever had with food. Now we just hope she doesn’t get sick from eating...

Three times I gave them a chance. The three experiences:

1. Food took 25 minutes after ordering. 25 minutes for two breakfast wraps.
2. Told them of a food allergy which meant they couldn't make the food with it. Was ordering to go so couldn't check. They actually added my allergy to both my main dish and the other items my office ordered so I couldn't trade with anyone.
3. I ordered three items, cashier double checked my order to verify what I was getting, still got it completely wrong.

The free market should not let a restaurant this incompetent...

I met Amy at the Southwedge Farmers Markets and grabbed some of her original dill pickles. Simply wonderful, light, tasty and delicate. Literally these are the best pickles I have ever tasted. Give her a call or stop by the Southwedge Farmers market on Gregory Street, Thursdays between 4-7PM or better yet go and visit her at Ludwig's Center Stage Cafe.
