I am a frequent visitor to this particular Denny's. While having breakfast with my family on Dec. 26th, I had the worst dining experience of my life (I'm 60!). The table we were seated at was dirty. It did appear as if someone had made an attempt to clean it as you could see smudge marks, but they clearly didn't use a clean cloth with any cleaning solution on it. The silverware was dirty. I did ask for clean and was given cleaner. I ordered iced tea. When it came there was something like sludge floating in it that settled in the bottom. I sent it back, apologies from the waitress as she promised to speak to her manager. My French Toast was dry and cold, the over medium eggs I ordered were cold and over done. The syrup container was clogged and didn't pour. My sons omelette had no cheese ( as promised in the description) and was dry and cold. Kids food seemed ok, but hey, they're kids. While paying the check, we noticed several inches of water being mopped up in the waitress pick up area of the kitchen. Not very well, it looked like there was so much water that all they succeeded in doing was pushing it around. While all this was happening, a septic truck was parked outside, obviously doing a pumping job at the restaurant. Could that have something to do with that "water" on the floor? Very unappetizing. There were a few other observations, but I think I've said enough. Lost our family's...
Read moreAlthough the food was pretty good for a diner, I put this restaurant down for a three start rating because of service. Yes, the food is important when going to a restaurant as you don't want to be eating food you don't want or don't like. Me and my family went there early in the morning around 10:00 am and it wasn't very packed which made me happy thinking we would get our food fast but oh boy was I wrong. The waitress came relatively fast, we ordered out drinks and waited... We waited around half an hour just to receive our drinks and to order our food and that's when it all began. We were patiently waiting for about an hour and a half to receive our food but that isn't even the worst part. About mid way waiting for the food we ordered, our waitress came and slammed a bowl of fruit on our table without saying a single word and simple walking away right after. This made us think our food was finally going to arrive but as the minutes passed and we started to get more and more hungry nothing came. We were really confused what the fruit was for so we just ate it. Once the food finally came we basically swallowed it whole because of how hungry we were. I don't know how the service is later in the day but I imagine it doesn't get any better. So for me, I wouldn't recommend this diner to anyone. I wouldn't go back, although the food was pretty good. Thank you for...
Read moreThe food was really good and our waitress was super nice! However! I had gotten sausage links, and they were raw on the inside. The rest of my food was lovely and tasted well and I didn’t want to make much of a fuss, but I felt it still needed to be brought up. After telling our waitress instead of either bringing the plate back or just bringing out some different sausage links she gave a speech abt how the sausages are browned and how she has gotten this complaint multiple times, but each time it has been brought up kitchen staff told her that’s just how it’s cooked. After previously working in the restaurant industry, I’m aware it’s not her fault i don’t blame my waitress if it was made that way and if the kitchen is dismissing her concerns. I do however think this is a kitchen staff and management issue. You cannot serve raw sausages and then dismiss it when multiple people send back the same menu with the same complaints and not do anything differently. Then on top of it dismiss your own staff who will most definitely take most of the blame for the...
