The Counter at Five Points — Restaurant in City of Saratoga Springs

Finally got a chance to stop in this morning. I worked at this iconic spot when it was owned by Maura and it was Five Points Market and Deli. It was so busy back then during track season, you could barely find a place to sit. It has changed hands a few times since then and it just never had the same hometown vibe.

I was pleasantly surpised this morning. I am so happy there seems to be a lovely group of professional and pleasant people running this spot again.

I ordered the Ham egg and cheese and it was delicious, a wee bit salty, but delicious. The coffee was decent as well. The young lady at the register was very pleasant which was refreshing as this type of customer service was lacking by the prepvous individuals that ran this location when it was the Little Market at Five Points.

They have a well stocked grab and go with some fun lunch provisions. The baker in me was curious, so I also grabbed a scone. Again ... delicious.

I live a few blocks away and plan on being a regular. So happy to finally have a cute place to stop at again at...

Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Loved getting a very friendly greeting. The iced shaken espresso with a touch of brown sugar was perfect. I couldn’t finish the huge sausage , egg and cheese sandwich on brioche roll. I took a friend today and she enjoyed as well. Looking forward to trying their lunch items also.

Bonus: fresh clean water outside...

The Counter is truly a gem, fresh, flavorful, and everything is made with care. Their breakfast is always spot-on. The to-go snacks and baked goods are perfect for grabbing something delicious on the run, and their lunches are just as outstanding. You can really taste the quality and thought that goes into everything they make. Saratoga is so lucky...
