That's not a cinnamon roll, that's a cinnamon pizza. First time in this bakery, having found it online while looking for new places to check out. Normally wouldn't be able to check them out as they close at 3PM, but lots of end-of-the-year PTO leads to exploring my options. Ended up going with 9 different choices, a PB cookie, Molasses cookie, Sprinkle cookie, Snickerdoodle cookie, Sugar cookie, Lemon Bar, Vanilla Cupcake, Gingerbread Man cookie, and a Cinnamon Bun. All in all, only a little under $38, not too shabby. Straight away, the PB Cookie, was mind blowing. It was very richly peanut butter, but not aggressively mud mouth making. And the addition of PB Chips inside was something I wish more places did. The molasses was exactly as it should be, not super sweet and it had that distinct dark flavor. The sprinkle I expected to be a lot doughier, but it surprised me with how crispy it was and how well the sprinkles held up to the baking. The snickerdoodle I wished it had more cinnamon flavor, as it stands now it was only a little spicy and I much prefer snickerdoodles to bite back. The sugar cookie, aside from the fun design, also had a lovely shortbread flavor. The cupcake was very plain, it had a sweet smack to it but I think it could use a twist, maybe some vanilla bean to add more vanilla aroma. The gingerbread man was not as crunchy as I was expecting, nor did it have a super punchy ginger flavor, a bit like the snickerdoodle's cinnamon. And finally that cinnamon bun, just , wow! The frosting was rich and had a proper cream cheese flavor and consistency to it. The bread was well constructed, holding together very well, but not super dense or heavy. They did go light on the cinnamon tar, but that's ok, because they had enough cinnamon proper that it danced well with the massive frosting topping included. Loved this, far better than anything Cinnabon puts out anymore. A shame they close as early as they do, as I could totally see myself rocking this place as a standard weekly visit.

I have gone to Bread Basket in the past for custom cakes, and they have never disappointed! This cake was made for my twin daughters' 1st birthday party and it came out exactly like how I imagined it in my head. Angelina, the cake designer, was so helpful and we communicated entirely via email. From the stock photo I sent her as a reference, she was able to turn that into this beautiful cake that went along with our "ice-cream theme" perfectly and the colors were beautiful, bright and vibrant! The taste of the cake was absolutely delicious and moist- almost the entire cake went the day of the party! Thank you so much Bread Basket for this wonderful cake, in addition to the cupcakes! Everything tasted so good- I am happy that I can always count on this bakery to deliver amazing quality items every time!

At Bread Basket Bakery, the croissant is a masterpiece. It's golden-brown, with a delicate, crispy exterior that gives way to a tender, buttery, and perfectly flaky interior. Each bite melts in your mouth, releasing a symphony of rich, buttery flavors with a hint of sweetness. The layers are so light and airy that they almost seem to dissolve on your tongue, making it the ultimate indulgence. Whether enjoyed plain, with a smear of fresh butter, or paired with a sweet jam, this croissant is a heavenly delight that transports you straight to a Parisian café.

Hubby and I stopped here for a pre-Travers day breafast of their magnificent pastries - cheese danish and chocolate almond pastry are so delightful and delicious. We stopped here with the intention of getting sandwiches for our day at Saratoga but were enticed by the very appetizing pastries. We were elated as we savored our respective choices. Hubby likes his cheese danish. I love chocolate so . . . chocolate croissant. We can’t wait to devour the sandwiches. Mary the manager and the staff here are beyond accommodating and friendly . . . well . . . just delightful. The bread basket is across from the southwest side of Congress Park at the top of the hill. If you are walking into town from the track, stop here. There is no need to walk into town yet. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the very smooth coffee and a pastry or breakfast sandwich or lunch. I can’t say enough nice things...

I’m so disappointed in what this place has become. We used to go here all the time, and now my last 3 experiences have been terrible. I got a Turkey sandwich for delivery, it arrived with no Turkey, just a LOT of lettuce. Next time I got a sandwich with honey mustard and cranberry sauce and they put on regular yellow mustard, completely ruining it. Today I ordered my 5 year old son a breakfast sandwich on their homemade English muffin, and it came on toast..which as any parent knows it’s hard enough to get your kid to eat breakfast let alone have something come that’s different than what you prepped them for. I ordered the salsa sandwich with some add ons that I had to pay for, and ended up with a really expensive egg wrap with none of the original ingredients. They went from having really good food...
