Just as High Rock Spring is the heart of the 'old or upper village' in the area of High Rock Park, Congress Spring is the heart of the 'new or lower village' in the area around Congress Park. This is a historic mineral spring. The water is lower in carbonation and minerals, and has a slight iron taste - cold and refreshing. Milder than the nearby Deer Park Spring. Congress is a good mineral water that most people will enjoy trying. The pavilion is not the original, but looks very similar. You haven't really visited Congress Park until you've sampled...
