I've heard about this place so many times and every time I mention Falafel this place is recommended so I knew I needed to try it, so my son and I decided to go on an adventure to Schenectady. We found a really good parking spot really close to the restaurant and there was a small line, by the time we left it was going out the door. I mentioned to the staff that it was my first time there and they walked me through how to make my own Bowl and my son got a chicken wrap. It's funny because my son would never eat half of the stuff that they have their and they stuck it all in a wrap and he said it was completely and totally delicious he loved it. He wasn't even done with his lunch yet and was already telling me he couldn't wait to come back. My falafels were very yummy and everything was so fresh and tasty! We took three pieces of baklava home with us cuz we're going to have it for after dinner tonight. The prices are reasonable the staff is very nice and accommodating. Overall it was a great experience and I would love to go back. We both got the pomegranate lemonade, I thought it was delicious but my son...

Thus, I mean it when I say Simone's is on-pointe for their authentic, fresh, and creative menu options.
This small hot-spot has an upscale vibe in a downtown setting. You can expect a dine-in or on-the-go experience that feels like a Mediterranean Ikea without the pressure to buy the Swedish Meatballs or home furnishings.
On that note - Buy their meatballs. Buy. Their. Meatballs. Keftedes (Kef-ted-ehs) are a wonderfully palm-shaped combo that belong in your belly.
Vegans and Vegetarians: Firm tofu is kickin'! Exploritarians: Try the Tofu in place of the Chicken Schwarma Omnivores: Have at it. Chicken and Beef. Kids: So delish and colorful it's fun for all.
ENJOY!

Think Chipotle for Mediterranean food, and much higher quality and service. We mostly had lunch food (one of the bowls which was great), but I also had a shaken espresso and that was excellent and quite affordable compared to a similar drink at even a chain coffee shop. I didn't have any, but it looked like they also had some great little desserts. The dining space is welcoming, extremely clean, and spacious enough that a lot of people can sit inside without it feeling crowded. But the true thing that set this place apart was that their staff were not just polite, but truly friendly like they were honestly happy you were there. Highly recommend. I will...
