I chose to go here because I received an awesome cookie from here from a friend. So I went to order some of those cookies and price really wasn't any issue (as I said cookies were awesome). While I was there I also decided to order a pie to bring to Christmas dinner. I had looked at the menu they have on the web and seen a banana cream pie that looked great before I went there. So I ordered a banana cream pie with coconut. The pie I received looked nothing like the picture I seen. But I figured oh well as long as its good who cares. So I also picked up the cookies and pie at same time. I brought pie home and put directly in fridge because I was told it would need to sit for 4 hours. I did not take pie out till Christmas day and that was a Saturday and I picked up these things on a Thursday. My cookies did not taste like the ones I originally went there to get but they were still good so had no big complaint about them. The pie on the other hand that cost me $25 was a problem. I pulled pie out for a dessert hyping it and the bakery I got it from up. So mostly everyone wanted a piece. Then I cut a piece and the filling was runny and would just run off the crust. Well everyone passed on the pie. I let owners know about this and never got any response as if they didn't care or didn't believe me. First picture is what my pie should of looked like and second is what it looked like after I cut...
Read moreThe chef is clearly talented and can legitimately make some amazing flavors with his food. So, we will be back. But being new, there maybe are a few kinks to work out for the front of house. We realize some of this has to do with covid and just starting out, but just a few suggestions might help to elevate the experience... It would help if the Saturday brunch were more sit down (not to go boxes) and a little more substantial (the biscuits and gravy were amazing but you expect maybe a side dish or something). ...just a suggestion. We also think it would help to make more of a visual barrier between back of house and front, the work area bleeding into the dining area is a bit awkward for a patron. You feel like you’re in the kitchen... which could be cool if it was set up as a real open kitchen so we can watch them making things, but i don’t think that was the intention. If I could watch someone making a cool wedding cake or even some scones, while I eat, that would be pretty cool- like watching a YouTube video live! But maybe introduce a counter with stools...? Anyway, just trying to help, I really want this place to be successful, the food is really tasty and we really need a great breakfast / brunch place in...
Read moreWell I am confused looked at last review it makes me very concerned. I saw that the review changed and thanks for the seviace for our country. But what I dont get is how is one wheelchair a fire code and if place was closed how was it an issue. Also if someone is using that facility for there business that would make you business partners sounds to me like rai's dough is unprofessional and it does sound like you have issues with handicaps. P.s my daughter was a volunteer paramedic with fire department so I know that there was no fire hazard with one chair especially if you were closed . Also my other daughter was a paralegal so there sounds like a legal issue and Rai's could be sued by other company that was using the facility. Good luck to pudding queen if I am correct that was the name of the other company. I am so glad I read this earlier now i know not to use this for my daughters wedding catering. Witch I was thinking about. Thanks julia and wish you did not change your review because people should know...
