The Ice Cream Stand — Restaurant in City of Syracuse

Delicious treat. Once every so often during the Summer since 2017,about twice to 3 times per year I treat myself to some real #quality ice-cream at the "Ice-cream Stand". I try to pick different flavors each time. Last time I got chocolate lovers chocolate on the bottom and strawberry cheese-cake on top. This time I couldn't resist chocolate lovers chocolate on the bottom again,but applepie on the top. #yummy on another level. Applepie with pieces of apple and crust all in it. #Ohmygoodness ! It was not too sweet,and the ice-cream was refreshing. The chocolate lovers chocolate had pieces of #chocolaty goodness in it,and the ice-cream was not too sweet,but cool and refreshing. I love it. It reminded me of back home as a child. "Sweet memories" 😋😏The big deal is,I'm lactose intolerant and if I was eating a store-bought regular ice-cream, I would have had to rush right home minutes after eating it,it usually starts attacking by 10 minutes. I was 7 minutes away from home and sitting in the shop,taking my sweet time,then chilled out downtown for another 20 minutes before going home. Since it’s a local ice cream shop, not a chain, I asked if I could taste one of their flavors. The employee said no. I told the employee what I want twice and I am guessing he charged me for the toppings, including the cherry. My husband was asked if he was fine with a cone that had a whole. We paid and then the employee asked me if I was fine with him giving me a cone about 1/4 the size of the normal cones. He offered the boxed cone as an alternative. I asked him if there was a difference in price between a cup and a cone and he said $2. He called the manager and she gave me the same to options. Then he messed up a flavor and the manager told him to return the scoop and give the correct one. Return the scoop after it had been in front of a customer! I told the employee the flavors that I wanted and the sprinkles for the third time. Then he forgot the sprinkles and by the time the manager came back with the ice cream, I gave up on the cherry. Usually when people mess up, they try to make up for it but this was a $10 ice cream cone with a terrible service and a tip that was paid before the service...

Where to begin. Came here because i had a craving for a sweet treat. When i arrived they literally only had 6 random ice cream flavors available, no vanilla, no chocolate, no oreo or cookie dough! So we decided on Oreo flurries. They charged my credit card and then realized the flurry machine was too warm (not on). So then when i asked for my money to be returned, they weren’t able to return it to my card and gave me cash instead. I still really wanted to sweet treat so i asked for a milk shake. And received the most liquid shake ive ever had. It was more milk than ice cream for sure. Not sure if they were trying to conserve their subpar ice cream or if they dont have a proper system for making a milkshake. I mean honestly if you dont know how to make a proper milk shake working at an ice cream place, what do you know how to do?
