I went last week to get my bridge pierced by John Joyce! The whole experience was amazing from the bat! I have a very crazy work schedule and I was driving from about an hour away to come see him and he was so flexible with scheduling and so kind, he was able to offer me multiple dates/times to make sure I was able to come! Once we got there the place was beautiful and so clean, John immediately helped us and was able to give me so much good information about my piercing and he was able to offer many options for jewelry which was amazing because any other piercing I have gotten at other places there were only so many options. Once I got back to the room with him to do the piercing he spent ample time making sure to get my piercing placed just right and checked me from every way! I’m not joking, he had me sitting, standing and laying down along with him moving himself around to make sure it was correct! That fact that he was so knowledgeable and so particular about the placement made me so calm and I felt so safe! Right before the piercing he ran through the whole list of what was about to happen and what I was to do which was really nice because I’ve been in a position before when I was like “okay what now” but not with him! If you’re looking to get anything piercing I 100% feel safe recommending him! I wish I could give this place 10 stars! 100% recommend. This is a long one regarding a child ear piercing. I came here years ago to get my nose peireced and that was an amazing experience and thats why i brought my daughter here to get her ears pirced. I'm here to talk about my visit a few days ago. I brought my daughter here for her birthday. She's wanted her ears pierced for years but she's also a little ball of nerves. The staff were all so friendly, calm and professional. My true 5 star review is for Kirsten. From the moment she introduced herself to my daughter she was so kind, informative, patient, fun and respectful. My daughter was struggling so hard with her nerves and Kirsten handled it better than I could've imagined. She did not make any of us feel rushed but especially not my daughter. She reassured her that she wouldn't do anything until she was okay and said yes. She was honest and treated my daughter like a smart human. Kirsten explained everything step by step. She tried a few things to get my daughter feeling comfortable and less afraid. When my daughter ultimately said she didn't want to do it today, Kirsten was so supportive and even took the time to tell her that it was the right thing to say no if you're not ready. Not only was this a huge moment that daughter will remember when thinking of getting her ears pireced but an impactful message that will stay with her when making choices later in life. Couldn’t be happier with my experience here. came in last week for a double nostril piercing, Emailed the studio and got an appointment within the hour which I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by since I emailed with the expectation of waiting at least a week. Went in and met Kirsten. She was the sweetest ever! Very calming and talked me through the entire process. I’ve had my nostrils done elsewhere before and didn’t like the placement - Kirsten made sure I was happy with the placement and took her time to get them as symmetrical as possible. She explained aftercare and even answered questions I had about why my last set didn’t heal as nicely - laid out timelines for swapping jewelry, asked what I wanted to do with them in the future (chain, hoops etc) The only “problem” I had is that there’s soooo many beautiful pieces of jewelry to choose from and I felt bad it took me as long as it did to come to a decision on what pieces I wanted. (Not that it’s really a con, because Kirsten was so patient and even let me hold them up near my nose in a sterile manner to make sure I’d like how it looked on me as well before deciding on which ones I wanted) I’m very excited to come back and get the rest of my piercings done here as soon as possible.
