The ambience here is excellent, as well as the service. We always have a fun time when visiting and feel well cared for. However, the food can leave a bit to be desired. We tried the Nashville hot wings and they were more of a spicy BBQ flavor than the traditional Nashville sauce we’ve had at other places. The veggie burger patty was pretty dry and crumbly. Finally, the nachos are just some chips with cheese and they’re pretty plain even if you add a meat topping. I did enjoy my dessert which was the warm skillet cookie & vanilla ice cream. I’d say this is a great local watering hole to hang out with friends and have some drinks & a fun time. However I’d recommend picking your food menu items carefully, stick to the basics like classic Buffalo wings and regular cheeseburgers.

Popular spot in White Plains, super loud if you eating inside, so be aware. Sitting on the deck looks cool, but the smoking area right under/side of it is not the best idea. Blood Orange Spritzer was flat, and they were out of one cocktail (my mother in law ordered, she settled for margarita). Food (2 apps and 4 main courses)was solid, interesting take on fried calamari with the cucumber salad on the top. Fish and chips were on point, great presentation with the "fake" newspaper in the bowl. Might be back to check out Happy Hour during the week (4-8pm)

While walking around looking for a place to get drinks, I stumbled upon Ron Blacks Beer Hall. This beer hall is beautiful! The decorations are lovely, and it felt very cozy. I was quickly seated without a reservation, and our server was prompt and attentive. The warm pretzel bites were absolutely delicious! The pretzels were so warm and buttery—I could have eaten three orders myself! The drinks were also great, with an extensive draft list and a nice selection of cocktails. I would definitely come back!

Food was good but the service was horrendous and it’s the last time I will be visiting the establishment. We arrived around 7:45pm and were told the kitchen closed at 9am by the host. We ordered our meal and were told the kitchen closed at 8pm by our waiter. Understandable things happen some additional background we were there to watch the football game. We asked the waiter to switch the tv to the proper channel from red zone his response was the TV was broken. When it wasn’t and the tv was changed by some other staff member without asking. The beer hall followed up with the food runner yelling at us for whose side fries were ordered. When i fact the order was for truffle fries and not regular fries then the fries were placed aggressively on the table. Upset but we understood since we arrived and ordered close to the kitchen closing. Not letting it ruin our mood we could not get a drink at the bar for over 20 mins waiting and zero eye contact was made. We left and went to our normal spot brazen fox. Service is better here and we will not be returning. So much for trying...

Went here for brunch a few weeks ago with my sister. She had hair baked into her omelette. They remade it quickly and our food was pretty good after that, so we were satisfied with the meal. But, we were still a little turned off.

Today, we decided to go back and try this spot again; I also wanted to try their Irish breakfast.

Our breakfasts were supposed to come with home fries. They gave us French fries at 11:00 am. We were confused, told our waitress we preferred home fries. So she went to get us some. It also said we were getting home fries on the menu, so this was confusing.

I had a few fries while I waited; unfortunately I also had a mouthful of long black hair with the fries. Neither my sister or I have long black hair. I moved the fries and a huge clump of black hair was there.

I won’t be returning to this place since we have gone to this establishment twice this month and both times we had hair in our food.

Apparently they are not wearing hairnets. The hair both times were long and black and in the food. So, something is going on in the kitchen.

Wear...
