Subway — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

If you want a good quality sandwich and deserve to be treated well then don’t go to this subway. I am not the first one to say this. Employees are very unprofessional. Bitching about their Indian jew boss. I don’t care for who their boss is and however he treats them. All I care for is my money and if I am paying for something I believe I deserve a better service with professional approach to it.

Here’s my story in brief. I asked for a salad and the Nepalese guy BOH started making my salad without changing his gloves. Those who don’t know Subway has a rule of changing their gloves for every Sandwich they make and every salad they make. So this guy started making my salad without changing his gloves. I am vegan and the sandwich he made before making my salad was a chicken Sandwich. So I obviously want him to change his gloves. Then he starts making my salad in their to go box instead of making it in their big bowl and chopping all the vegetables fine. When asked to do so he rudely replied saying he don’t have time for it. He then didn’t even ask for croutons and did not even put the cheese to my salad said it will be charged extra. Not coming back to this subway ever and I demand my refund...

Not impressed. I spent a while putting a fairly large order with tip into the app and used a promo code from Subway. The order processed on my credit card, showed paid on my app, I even heard the online order alarm go off in the store. Then they went over to the register and voided the transaction stating that they don't take promos. I usually don't use promos for this reason. Now I have a $35 charge pending on my card and still had to order the $45 again, not that it's a huge deal but it doesn't come back instantly and now I have to wait a few days to get my money back. Overall just ridiculous to offer promos but then not honor them. 😕

I am sure the guy there is just being told by the owner to void these promos for online orders but from my perspective I wouldn't have walked in the door but the promo seemed worth it. So what's better, no...

If I could rate 0 I would. This subway establishment on tuckahoe rd in Yonkers has horrible customer service and is very unsanitary. The worker handled cash and then tried to make my sandwich with the same gloves even though there was a full box of gloves right behind him .When I politely asked him to change them he quickly became aggressive and began to curse at my son and I while telling us to leave and taking pictures of us. Then threatening us to call police . We then called police so they could assist us with having him remove the pictures he took because ,who knows what he would have told police if we would have just left .
