So it was raining like cats and dogs outside but better than staying home.We decided to trek and go visit chuck cheese, So decided to go to this location with the fun pass, we had a wonderful time, all the staff was great, and atmosphere was pleasant. There's so many games to choose from, there is free parking on-site as well, and it's next to vatiety of stores to shop at and its across the street from wendy's, and next door to a steakhouse, if you're hungry for that. Also half the pizza slipped out of the pan and I spoke to the person who cooks the pizza named Samantha, as I explained it to her, she replaced it no problem, for a medium size, and she didn't have to do that, nonetheless that was extremely nice of her. Then just to find out that there was problem with a game that didn't work properly, and the manager, who happened to be, the same person who cooked the pizza, so not only gave me what I lost but gave me a couple of extra points with translates to more games. That is what customer service is all about. The gentleman that works the front named Fernando, was holding down the fort all by himself, he handled the registers, the prize redemption area with the same friendly personable demeanor, really cool person, and based on those actions alone coupled with kindness, I will definitely be visiting here more often. Overall, if you're looking for a chuck e cheese to visit with great staff and slamming pizza, and a great safe lovation, this is the place to go. I'm very happy that we decided to come here. BTW, Sorry, if my writing's all over the place, as i was actually writing this review from chuck e cheese and there was alot of distraction....
Read moreSo I usually go to the E Gun Hill location but I decided to try here last month because it seem to have more toddler friendly games from the pictures,& it does for my 3-4yr old to have fun. However the customer service here is terrible. Something needs to be corrected because now I reading other reviews I'm seeing that being the #1issuw with their location. We stayed a little over an hour after my child had run thru all the games suitable for their age. Upon checking out our tickets for prize redemption, a gumball machine was noticeable but we didn't have enough for it. Nevertheless, I decided to purchase it out my pocket because that what my child desired. The rep during the time was fixing me a defective 1 which if I'm gonna spend $20 on a prize why would I take something with noticeable damage. He was mad that I asked him to exchange it before purchase when I pointed out the damage on the item. It's not my fault it was faulty and also on the top shelf. So because he had to get the steps again to reach another he seem pissed & instead of finishing with me he pass me on to another rep. Let me inform you it was not busy at all and we were the only ones redeeming a prize. That totally rub me the wrong way. Neither one of them were friendly. Entering the location i was excited myself thinking we found the perfect chuck e cheese location but upon leaving & to this day I torn between revisiting because it's suitable for my child & going back to E Gun Hill where the customer service is better(&staff is mostly if not all teenagers)but games are more for grown kids. An intervention on customer service here is...
Read moreThis review is based on my second visit to the Yonkers location with my son which was on 10/19. We arrived at approx 12 pm after my 4 year old gets out of school. Initially we were having fun playing games and eating dipping dots. My son ran over to a game with a lever and immediately pushed the lever in excitement. Unbeknownst to us there was a tech on the side of the machine that was repairing it. He became visibly upset and stated to my son “ I wish you wouldn’t have did that.” My son was confused and immediately picked up that the gentleman was unhappy with him and his actions. I informed the gentleman who I found out was the Tech manager named Chris that he was not viable and furthermore my child should not be spoken to directly. He was not apologetic. The sad thing is we have a party booked in November for my sons birthday and I am terrified about the people that they have working here if Chris is a representative of someone in a lead management position. We ended up leaving immediately because the fun carefree vibe was gone. I spent the rest if the day reassuring my son that he had not done...
