I came in yesterday just before 8 PM we were sat down quickly but it took about 30 minutes for a waitress to introduce yourself to us. in between those 30 minutes every so often she walked by us apologized and continue to care for the table she had before us. I wasn’t really upset about it but I noticed something was wrong because it wasn’t very busy. they’re were a lot of empty tables so I really wasn’t sure what was taking so long. when she finally came over she asked us what we wanted to drink introduced yourself And then The night continued normally. I quickly realized what was going on and became upset I can tell my waitress was a new hire. I can tell she wasn’t on the floor for very long. I wasn’t upset that she wasn’t prepared or knowledgeable on customer service. I was upset at the fact that there was no management or supervisor guiding her. I can tell this young lady was very overwhelmed. I skimmed over to other waitresses and notice another waitress seemed very overwhelmed herself. again no management or supervisor in the area to step in and assess them. i’ve worked in several areas of customer service and hospitality, even participated in supervisor or managerial roles in this industry. no one seemed to care that these waitresses were struggling and we’re slowly falling apart. I was horrified at the site of seeing them fend for themselves with no one to guide them it was a very gut wrenching kind of cringe second hand embarrassment to witness this whole ordeal. As more customers came in the more overwhelmed the waitresses became and I was just really disappointed, not at the Waitresses but at management because I can tell these waitresses were trying so hard to keep it all together. I know how this Industry can be especially during A global pandemic but management really lacked highly that night. This review I’m leaving is specifically for management. my waitress did her best and gave her best and was tipped accordingly but I will say I do not understand why there was no one to guide these waitresses that night. it was very disappointing seeing these waitresses being put on the floor and struggling to make ends meet. I appreciate if no waitresses are reprimanded because of this review but helps supervisors and management understand the importance of the role in situations like these. I hope this gives management some Enlightenment about training because it was very evident that it was...

Went to this place for the first time in GA, of 2009 and it was our hangout spot every weekend and after leaving GA I lived in NY and they never heard of this place, so I never thought of this place again until I recently visited coming here to see family and we went to eat as we had our mini reunion. So the story goes.. good vibes in GA and good vibes after being w/ family here in Clarksville as we enjoyed the food and company of being at Cheddars. Long story short just recently moved back here and was like you know what(bragging) to bf to come eat here since he’s never been and we had a good time and said we will return b/c waiter was on point, but it was in midday on the weekend. Now that we went again…on the weekend as before, it was always jammed packed in GA, now here, don’t mind the wait b/c good vibes and good food, but now.. all I can say is.. WE WILL NEVER EVER RETURN. sad to say.. customer service here is now Very bad, and the simple fact of kindergarteners working every area of this place. We had to ask for 3 different set of silverware because they were all dirty I’m not talking spots I’m seeing dried mashed potatoes or bread that was stuck on them. So we asked for plastic ware. The bartender took a margarita glass from a customer who got up swished it in the water and gave it to another customer but but wait it gets worse the guy bartender left food on the bar and when he finally decided to take our order half a** wiped the counter slinging crumbs on us my bf was very close to getting ignorant and it could’ve went another way. As we sat at the table we then realized there was food residue on my glass. The food order was completely misunderstood more than once. TELL THEM TO WASH AND CLEAN SILVERWARE PROPERLY. The bathroom didn’t have paper towels. So no we didn’t have anything enjoyable about this visit and will not be coming back honestly I really want my money back. 70 something and change wasted on...

Wow this place is really going downhill. Used to love going to this Cheddar's. Went to this location 4/12/25 at 1:30 pm with my daughter. Started when we walked into the location which was not busy at all. There was three hostesses standing there with zero personality that didn't even greet us when we walked in the door and waited for a couple minutes for the acknowledgment. Then our waitress came which had zero personality and acted awkward so bad it made me feel awkward. Asked her if she had Corona beer and she said no, I ordered something else come to find out from looking at the menu they did have Corona so I ordered something I did not want, not even your waitress knows what you carry and do not carry. My daughter ordered the shrimp alfredo which was horrible and had no sauce on it. I ordered the Cajun pasta which was supposed to have chicken, Bell peppers, sausage. It was horrible, the chicken tastes like canned chicken, there was 2 itty bitty pieces of bell pepper on it and had absolutely zero sausage. Nasty. Then a male worker kept walking by us with earbuds in his ears singing very loudly to himself. Very unprofessional. He was singing so loudly the last time he walked by I had to shout at him to be quiet as he was disrupting our nasty lunch. The cleanliness of the restaurant is absolutely awful. Looked dirty with food all over the floor. And all of this wonderful service for $60. Cheddar's you better get it together or you'll be the next...

Edit; I am updating my review from years past. I have ate at this restaurant many times since last review and I have more and more disappointmented with their food. The food quality has gone down over the years. The food does not taste as good and just cooked different all together. The pot pie was lacking flavor. Steamed vegetables were boiled, so they were mushy. Again this is not the first time. Food has been slowly feeling for a long time now. Have had great dining experience every time we dined here. Plenty of parking Very nice decor inside and out. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and promptly seated. It wasn't too busy maybe 3/4 of dining area full. Drink orders and appetizers order were taken as we were seated. After our meal orders were taken it took maybe 15 minutes for our food to arrive. Food was very good. We ordered cheddar club sandwich, Philly steak sandwich, and chicken dinner. Large portions. Server was nice and attentive to our table. I highly recommend this restaurant. Plan on a wait if you arrive during peak lunch or dinner times as this is a very popular restaurant. Good value for your money with great flavor.

We had a group of 13 and we arrived as soon as they opened at 11:00 on Sunday. We were seated promptly and our server was super sweet and enjoyable. She got our drink order quickly and put in our appetizer order. We got our drinks in a timely manner, but our food took quite awhile. We did get our appetizers before our meal, but it took awhile for them considering it was onion rings and chips/salsa. Several tables that had came in after us got there food before us. We got alot of fried food so not really sure why it took so long. Lots of fries and chicken tenders, a rare steak that was overdone. The food was good, but pretty slow in my opinion. I have waited tables in the past so I am very aware of what kitchen times should be. Overall we were there for an hour and a half. Kinda long even for a larger party so early in the day. I will eat here again. Just be aware that if you have a larger party your wait time could be quite a bit longer than normal.

Servers are friendly and very attentive; much appreciated for our party of six with split checks. I had the shrimp covered tilapia, forgot what the real name of it is, sauce flavorful but not too salty. Broccoli casserole was so tasty-- fresh brocc--still some crunch. I forgot to take a picture of the watermelon margarita I had, look just like the picture. Good REAL watermelon flavor, howev, sour mix made it slightly too sweet--I should have ordered the Painkiller which everybody in the restaurant seem to be ordering, including one of the members of my party...looks just like the menu picture, probably good there's a limit of two per person. Note: loaded baked potato is an extra 99 cents-I didn't see that mentioned on the menu but I could def be wrong. Also, if you're new to/visiting Tennessee, there's an extra tax on your receipt for alcoholic drinks, "LBD tax", I believe the interweb said it's 15% on each drink.
