Yummy Bowl — Restaurant in Clarksville

I had seen this new ramen noodle/ Mongolian BBQ grill and read the mixed reviews and my husband and I decided to give it a try. Sunday 05/04/2025 a little before noon we got there and was promptly waited on and was given a card a piece to chose our food bowl and gave our drink order which we both ordered Pepsi which was flat when our waiter came back to bring us the wings we ordered I told him my drink was flat and asked to exchange it for a My. Dew as my husband and I made our way to the food selection as it being our first time eating there we were not given any instructions whatsoever and when we got to the sauces before giving our food to be grilled one of the guys working with the big grill was saying something to which I couldn't hear because it was noisy and the grill itself wasn't quiet when he snapped at me about putting my sauce choice in a cup provided by the restaurant which was very unprofessional not to mention made my husband mad as we went back to our table only to find the My dew was flat as well employee brought my bowl and three bites in I seen something I didn't choose as I had the beef steak bowl and it had a big piece of crab meat at that point not only was my dinner ruined but so was our first time eating our experience was ruined the waiter offered me to get a new bowl but once my experience is ruined I'm done I waited for my husband in the truck they took my entree off and our drinks for the chicken wing 6 PC appetizer and my husband's bowl was $30+ tax. Needless to say. First and last time eating at Yummy Bowl big...

We ordered the gyoza, which was good. Then we ordered the meal, I got a premade meal on the menu and my husband got the all you can eat. The server never brought him the bowl to get his order started. My food came out before he even got the bowl to pick his food. First order for him came out fine, he went up to get his second and it was not so fine. They brought out his food and it didn’t look like what he had gotten but he thought after it cooked down maybe that was it…..nope. It was yum yum sauce but he got general sous and other spicy stuff. He spit it back out into the bowl. He told the server that it was not his food but he ate off of it and it could not be served to someone else. She took it back and came and asked him to go to the bar to find his. He saw the manager with the food he had spit out and told her that it could not be served because he had taken a bite and spit it back out. The manager proceeded to take the plate to a little girl at a different table. My husband walked over to the table and told the father there that his daughter could not eat that food, then the manager went and got the food and took it away. My husband finished his food, thought the lamb looked a little undercooked and he is still on the toilet now from that. On top of all this the servers are bussing tables and at the same time grabbing drinks from the top of the cup touching the rim with the same gloves they were bussing tables...

🍜 How It Works (for those who like a heads-up):

The server will take your food order.

Once you place your order, they’ll bring your empty bowl(s) to your table.

From there, you take your bowl to a buffet-style ingredient bar where you fill it with your choice of proteins, vegetables, noodles/rice, and sauces.

You leave your filled bowl on the tray, and the staff takes it to the hibachi grill for cooking.

Once it’s ready, your freshly cooked bowl is brought back to your table hot and ready to eat. 🍲

The ingredient options were fresh, and the portions are generous—I had enough to take home leftovers!

The restaurant is still fairly new, so while the staff is finding their rhythm, they’re doing a great job. Everyone we interacted with was warm, helpful, and attentive.

As someone who’s been hesitant to eat out due to health concerns and sensory overload, I found the space welcoming and the process easy to follow.

🌟 This is definitely a new favorite for us, especially for celebrations or family dinners.

We’ll absolutely be back.
