Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Clayton

I most likely will not go back to this establishment and unfortunately would suggest to others,look into it first before ordering in person or online. I was looking forward to the new location however, it went bad from the moment I walked in. As I walked through to make my order my right arm slightly brushed up against a table and was sliced wide open. I stood there with blood running down my arm, while trying to make an order with the limited choices they offered. If you look at the tables, they are simply rough cut edges; sliced my arm wide open to the point I had to request napkins to try and stop the bleeding. More importantly prior to attempting to make and order I was told there was no chicken or steak etc. I looked behind the glass and it blew my mind on how they were maintaining their food prep etc. Keep in mind it was early too. There was literally nothing left within 2 1/2 hours of the closing time. The protein available was simply very little pulled pork and beef Barbacoa which was mostly made of juices rather than any meat and looked as though it had been sitting there for quite some time. There was no black beans or pinto beans rather both types consisted of what looked like a thick paste in the bottom of both containers. I requested some new black beans in which case they told me they could not do at the time...? I asked if the closing time had changed or what was going on and they simply had no answer other than they were not closing at that time. The beef Barbacoa I asked for had hardly anything left in the container and again looked old. I asked if I could get some new and or more, their response was they did not have any, and the amout they gave me looked like the appropriate amount..? This was another moment I should have just left. The mistake I made was paying over $15 for old watered down beef Barbacoa that clearly had been sitting in the bottom of the container for who knows how long along with bean paste. I probably should have walked out the moment I sliced my arm open simply walking by a table. Sorry to leave a poor review, however this place is an extreme let down. The only positive thing I can say is the young person whom I spoke to when I walked in was very polite when they let me know they essentially had no proteins available. Huge disappointment overall. Got an online order that was picked up by my spouse. We spent $73 on meals and a couple of sides. My spouse was not provided with a receipt, and the bag was taped shut. He had no idea what was ordered. He was impressed by how quick the pickup was. Well, it was quick because we were missing an entire meal and a side of tortillas and salsa. We live about 25 minutes away, so it was that easy to go back and get what was missing. When trying to contact the store by phone, I got customer service. I did not get a live person. I was directed to a link on my online receipt. I clicked the link and was met with more AI until I mentioned my frustration 2x and then finally got a live person who acknowledged my frustration and promptly reimbursed me $15 that will be credited in about 3-5 days. I asked to speak with the store manager and was told that this was the only way to share my concerns. This location is fairly new, and after looking at reviews because of this mess, I see why the order was messed up. I will not ever step into this location again. In fact, I may have to redirect my funds into a grocery run to pick up the I ingredients to make my own "Chipotle" at home. The time and energy it took to resolve this is...

Where do I start? We have given this place an opportunity three different times since they have open. Almost every time except for once. The food was terrible. This last time we ordered hard shell tacos. They all ended up being soft shell tacos. My husband ordered a burrito. He ended up getting tacos. The doft shells were all stuck / glued together. The lettuce was in huge chunks. They barely had anything in them. The tortilla chips have been stale and nasty every single time . Overall it has been a terrible experience each time we have tried them. Then you go on the app to try to let them know how awful everything was and they offer you a free drink your next time around for $45 worth of food being absolutely disgusting and incorrect. So we had to call called the corporate number to let them know every bit of the food was incorrect and we weren't going to drive back up there to correct the situation. We were already home and my husband was sick and didn't want to go back out to get it corrected. I definitely will not be spending another dime in this place. Absolutely awful.
