I've gotten food here a good amount of times over the past few years. From what I've heard from employees, management sucks. At one point the AC was broken in the middle of the summer and they apparently weren't in a hurry to get it fixed. Another time the girl at the window warned me that many people have been complaining about the soda being flat, so she told me to try the drink before I drove off. She was really nice about it and I was glad she warned me, but I'm pretty sure the management knew they had a problem and just didn't care, so the employees were trying their best to make up for it. The best story just happened tonight though. I ordered ahead, and when I pulled up to the window I was handed my 3 drinks, one of which was supposed to be a lemonade. This "lemonade" was seemingly carbonated and looked off even in the dark, so I asked if this was actually a lemonade. He just nodded and mumbled yes, so I took the drinks and pulled forward like he said to. While waiting for 10 minutes (they're usually very slow here), I tried the drink and it was in fact not a lemonade. When my food was brought out, the employee didn't understand what I was saying, so I went inside. The guy at the window seemed to double down saying that my drink was a lemonade, but after repeating that's not the case, he threw a cup at me across the counter and said to try the machine in the dining area. Of course this machine also didn't have lemonade, so I went back and asked if they didn't have lemonade in the kitchen either and he replied more or less without words that they didn't. I complained that he shouldn't have given me "lemonade" in the first place if he knew they didn't have it, but after all of this, I decided it wasn't worth pleading with this terrible employee anymore and just left without the drink I paid for. One of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had, and the sad part is this seems pretty normal for this specific Wendy's. Some of the employees are great and deserve better, but others are absolutely awful. Maybe management will get replaced here at some point and this place will change, but I won't be going back to this...
Read moreTwo main reasons first my little teacup dog loves the cheeseburger from Wendy's they are moist and soft and she has no problems eating them versus tough dried-out cheeseburgers from other restaurants. When we pull in the drive through she gets extremely excited when she sees we are at Wendy's and she has to put in her request and she is very vocal about it LOL.. 2nd reason I like Wendy's. You need to understand Wendy's sadly is not local to us. We actually drive out of our way to go. So we don't get to go that often. So whenever we have the opportunity to drive near a Wendy's we grab that opportunity to order some delicious fast food. All the times we have done this everything was perfect. The food was exactly what we ordered. Except this one time. When my husband placed a large order of our favorite foods and some new foods we were wanting to try. After he got all the way back to our house. I get everybody set up to eat their food. I realized there was missing food plus some incorrect food items that he ask to be altered. So I contacted the manager about the order being incorrect and explained I was physically unable to come back to the Wendy's location at that moment. He told me he would put a note in the manager's office. The note would be under my name. So any of the managers would be happy to honor the agreement to make things right. Now after several months later. I went in even though I was thinking 🤔 to myself "there is no way a manager would remember the incorrect order. Nore the phone conversation with him. Plus with all the time that had already passed by how could a little note possibly be found." I am glad to report! I was amazement the manager remembered me calling in. He again apologized for the incorrect order. He was willing to honored exactly what he agreed upon to make the order correct. He even swapped out a chili to a salad for me. I was very impressed for it had been quite a while. Plus I could not remember the manager's name that I have talked to several months earlier. plus I did not have my original receipt. I am very very happy...
Read moreIt appears this place is run by terrible management and lackluster employees that are either unaware or at every attempt trying to disappoint you one way or the other. Drive thru employees might ask you repeated questions and have a hard time comprehending basic logic in their very own products, letting you do the mental work to clarify and correct their errors. Their French fries are often cold and stale, tasteless and void of any inspiration. The quality and whatever intentions the franchise owner hoped for has been left in a wretched state and is not even worth anyone’s time or money. McDonald’s would better suffice or even the local Dairy Queen. The manager that runs this establishment seems to be running a doomed campaign of cold food and slimy frostys, and shows no sense of customer service. She serves no inspiration for the employees that often trail behind her falsehoods of calling this place a Wendy’s. Whatever this is a sham. I would strongly urge others to avoid this location at all costs. There are better alternatives that offer a better experience. This place feels like a reinforced bad decision and a reverberation of regrets and disappointment. Wendy’s of Kemah, do better. Re-evaluate your management and raise your standards of quality and service. There’s a reason why you hardly see cars parked at this establishment, and when you do you wish you...
