I’m writing this while still sitting in the CVS parking lot, genuinely stunned by the level of unprofessionalism I just experienced. I entered the store a few minutes before 6:00 PM and stood behind a customer who was checking out, intentionally giving them space out of respect for their privacy. While waiting, my phone rang—I answered briefly and began stepping forward as the customer in front of me finished.
To my disbelief, as I approached the counter, the cashier walked to the back and began pulling down the coiling shutter without a word. I initially assumed it was a routine end-of-day procedure. Instead, it became clear that she was deliberately closing the register in my face—without acknowledging me or offering any kind of explanation—because the clock had apparently just struck 6:00 PM. She then casually exited the store and got into her car.
I fully understand that businesses have closing times, and I respect that. However, there is a basic standard of professionalism and human decency that was completely absent here. There was no communication, no “I’m sorry, we’re closed,” not even eye contact. Just a shutter pulled down and a silent exit.
This kind of dismissive and disrespectful behavior toward a customer—especially one who was clearly already in the store and waiting—is completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because this experience left a lasting...
Read moreMinute clinic told me they would not prescribe me a steroid for my allergies. Said it was not in the policy to do so. They also told me if I took a flu test there is nothing that could be done because it is too late for treatment. I already had a Covid test and it was negative. So my visit was canceled. I wasted my time going and waiting to find out they could prescribe me what I really need when my PCP is not available. Minute Clinic seems to be a testing site not a place for medical care. I am dissatisfied and disappointed. For the record the staff was nice to me. The problem is I left with out any treatment or help. I was canceled, this does not make...
