The Burger was really good, but expensive. Cost $38 for two burgers and fries. The payment screen starts off with a 20% tip and goes to a 30% tip for two burgers which I thought was a little crazy when you're already paying $35 (I gave a $3 tip) for two burgers and fries. This is not a sit down and be waited on establishment. The employees were talking about personal stuff when I walked in and had no problem continuing to talk about personal stuff while I stood there and waited to be acknowledged. Now, having said that, they did do a great job on the food. It was just a little off putting when you do that and then ask me for a base 20% tip for just doing what you've already been handsomly paid for. Overall, it's a burger shack with a couple outdoor tables you can sit at that does offer a good burger, but it's going to cost you quite a bit more than other places. I'm not saying I wouldn't go back, but I wouldn't frequent the establishment.

Was really excited to try this place out as I had seen videos of it online. Very busy so I knew it must be good. Unfortunately they never brought my meal out as they said they would. I watched the guy in front of me and others that came after come and go. After a 40 minute wait I decided to inquire, of course it had been done a long time, well partially done, the fries weren’t in the bag. They stated they called my name but didn’t respond, but did add that they saw me sitting there. So not going to inquire as to why I’m sitting there? Hamburger was good, but the fries were half cooked and extremely greasy, to the point I couldn’t even eat them. Too bad.

It was one of those "Time Traveling" experiences. They opened in 1949 according to their sign and it felt as though nothing has changed since. Some say,"when you have a good thing, why change it," and I think the Burger Bar definitely has that mindset. It set among the quaint downtown of Cleburne, Tx. The burgers were cooked to my perfectly medium but if you have a specific way you like it, I am confident they could make it to your liking. We did not try anything else so I have no reviews for other food. If you are into Time Traveling then take a leap back into time by visiting Burger Bar in Cleburne, Tx.

Thought this place was supposed to be “so good”. First and LAST time coming here. Watched a 1/4 inch thick frozen patty get thrown on a griddle covered in old grease, immediately made me upset since everyone says “they’re SOO GOOD!” Yea right I could go buy frozen patties better than that from Walmart. Only people there and Took 20-25 minutes to get two plain cheese burgers and one side of fry for almost $30 which made absolutely ZERO sense considering the burgers price on their menu was $6.50....whatever I get prices change buttttt. We get in the car to eat and they’re so greasy you can’t even bite into it without it dripping down your arm, all sopped up in the bread. Threw away the bread to the birds and just ate meat and cheese... NOT WORTH IT. Go to Grumps its just as good, so is Burger BARN off 917 towards Egan if you’re willing to drive, if you wanna support locals go to Morris Neals even, Allllll the same price but NOT SOGGY and NOT FROZEN PATTY. Such a disappointment and honestly waste of money. With how rude the ladies were to begin with I should’ve went back inside to ask for new bread or napkins or something. Just wasn’t worth it, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you wanna try it just for the heck of it like we did, go ahead, BUT you’ve...

This is a decent burger but it was super greasy. It took forever too. I called the order in 30 mins before arriving. They did let me know the order wouldn't be ready until 40-45 mins. It took 50 mins and they were steady but as far as I could see, it wasnt 50 mins busy unless I just didn't see how busy it was prior to arriving. Everything is cooked to order. Even saw them hand cut the fries. It was kind of high for just burgers and fries. And the grease was overwhelming. My hands were covered in grease when eating the burger. Even the buns were greasy. The building is mind boggling. It's the tiniest restaurant ever. I'm pretty sure it's smaller than a snow cone shop. And while waiting on the food, someone stopped in and thought it was a snow cone shop. The shop size was probably also to blame why it took so long. We kept seeing one of the workers exiting this incredibly small shop to get buns which were stored in a shed that was bigger than the joint lol. Freshness gets a 5 star. The taste, grease, price, it's a 3. It didn't live up to the ratings on here. Not the worst place but wasn't much to brag about other than these workers are impressive to work in such a...

So that really small, old looking burger shop on Anglin street you pass from time to time? Fact: They are phenomenal, and you are making a huge mistake by passing them by and going to McDonalds.

The burgers are incredible and the people are so nice. It’s one thing to have a good old school burger, but getting to meet Katy was another huge highlight. I talked to her while I was there and she’s really cool. Burger Bar actually won a huge competition at the Gameday Burger Battle at the Cowboys game and she showed me a photo of her and Guy Fieri at the competition.

And it’s not hard to see why they won! The burgers are done up with fresh veggies, cheese they melt while it’s still on the griddle and a burger that has a real nice hint of crispyness on the outside. Their griddle looks like a really good one too. They also toast their buns. Yep. They’re the real deal. Pro tip: get bacon on your burger. De-licious.

The atmosphere, the people and the food make this a must-visit in Cleburne, and I would even say it’s a must visit in Johnson County. You rarely get burgers like this anymore. Stop by, cuz you will not be disappointed...
