Thought this place was supposed to be âso goodâ. First and LAST time coming here. Watched a 1/4 inch thick frozen patty get thrown on a griddle covered in old grease, immediately made me upset since everyone says âtheyâre SOO GOOD!â Yea right I could go buy frozen patties better than that from Walmart. Only people there and Took 20-25 minutes to get two plain cheese burgers and one side of fry for almost $30 which made absolutely ZERO sense considering the burgers price on their menu was $6.50....whatever I get prices change buttttt. We get in the car to eat and theyâre so greasy you canât even bite into it without it dripping down your arm, all sopped up in the bread. Threw away the bread to the birds and just ate meat and cheese... NOT WORTH IT. Go to Grumps its just as good, so is Burger BARN off 917 towards Egan if youâre willing to drive, if you wanna support locals go to Morris Neals even, Allllll the same price but NOT SOGGY and NOT FROZEN PATTY. Such a disappointment and honestly waste of money. With how rude the ladies were to begin with I shouldâve went back inside to ask for new bread or napkins or something. Just wasnât worth it, I wouldnât recommend this place to anyone. If you wanna try it just for the heck of it like we did, go ahead, BUT youâve...
Read moreThis is a decent burger but it was super greasy. It took forever too. I called the order in 30 mins before arriving. They did let me know the order wouldn't be ready until 40-45 mins. It took 50 mins and they were steady but as far as I could see, it wasnt 50 mins busy unless I just didn't see how busy it was prior to arriving. Everything is cooked to order. Even saw them hand cut the fries. It was kind of high for just burgers and fries. And the grease was overwhelming. My hands were covered in grease when eating the burger. Even the buns were greasy. The building is mind boggling. It's the tiniest restaurant ever. I'm pretty sure it's smaller than a snow cone shop. And while waiting on the food, someone stopped in and thought it was a snow cone shop. The shop size was probably also to blame why it took so long. We kept seeing one of the workers exiting this incredibly small shop to get buns which were stored in a shed that was bigger than the joint lol. Freshness gets a 5 star. The taste, grease, price, it's a 3. It didn't live up to the ratings on here. Not the worst place but wasn't much to brag about other than these workers are impressive to work in such a...
Read moreSo that really small, old looking burger shop on Anglin street you pass from time to time? Fact: They are phenomenal, and you are making a huge mistake by passing them by and going to McDonalds.
The burgers are incredible and the people are so nice. Itâs one thing to have a good old school burger, but getting to meet Katy was another huge highlight. I talked to her while I was there and sheâs really cool. Burger Bar actually won a huge competition at the Gameday Burger Battle at the Cowboys game and she showed me a photo of her and Guy Fieri at the competition.
And itâs not hard to see why they won! The burgers are done up with fresh veggies, cheese they melt while itâs still on the griddle and a burger that has a real nice hint of crispyness on the outside. Their griddle looks like a really good one too. They also toast their buns. Yep. Theyâre the real deal. Pro tip: get bacon on your burger. De-licious.
The atmosphere, the people and the food make this a must-visit in Cleburne, and I would even say itâs a must visit in Johnson County. You rarely get burgers like this anymore. Stop by, cuz you will not be disappointed...
