We are fairly regular customers here, because the food is decent and was fairly priced. However we had a guest who wanted to return to this restaurant because she liked the prices. So yesterday we went and ordered our food off the menu as usual and split the check.
But when we went to pay for it, our guest waa told the price, and she thought they included our food on her bill because it was so expensive. The lady replied that the prices had changed and went up, and that the prices on the menu she gave us to order from were not correct...! What???
So she reluctantly paid, and we paid for our food next. It was also higher than the menu indicated when we ordered. I told the cashier it's not right that we ordered food based on the menu prices, and you wait until we are paying to tell us the menu is wrong and we have to all pay the new prices. (Which were noticeably higher). The most she could say was "sorry" but made no attempt to make it right. So we just paid and left.
This isn't the first issue we had here. A few months ago we asked for shrimp fajitas and they said they couldn't do that. Even though they have items on the menu made with shrimp....why? No explanation. Just a "no"
Also the time before last, I ordered cheese sauce on my enchiladas, so another person with us asked if they could get a side of that cheese sauce with their fajitas. They outright just said "no we can't do that" so we inquired why and she said she would ask in the back but knows the answer will be no. She left and came back and said they said "no" and that she knew they would say that because that's just how they are (or something to that effect.)
I was willing to look past these other things, but charging a noticeably higher price AFTER our meal than the menu indicated was the last straw.
The food here is good but not any better than the other Mexican restaurants in town. There are plenty of places to choose from so this will be the last time we eat here. We will just go down the road and...
Read moreDO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT EAT HERE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ I wanted to share some feedback about our experience this evening, 02/14/2025, Unfortunately, our orders were not taken correctly. We received jalapeños in one dish (my friend cannot eat spicy food) despite specifically asking for none, a Big Red instead of a root beer, and the wrong plate of nachos. Our food also arrived cold.
Additionally, we noticed the server eating on the floor while serving guests, and it was difficult to ask for anything without feeling like we were inconveniencing her. To be honest, the restaurant did not seem very clean, which made our experience less enjoyable. We wanted to bring this to your attention in case anything can be done to improve it.
When checking out at the front, the server printed the tickets incorrectly, adding extra items and not understanding our orders. Three out of the four of us paid, leaving just one person trying to figure out her check. Instead of helping, the server went to get the manager, and rather than assisting us, they both attacked us, claiming we just didn’t want to pay which was absolutely not the case. We are all business professionals and simply wanted to be charged correctly.
The manager came out and insisted that he personally made the food and knew everything was correct. He accused us of being untruthful and claimed we just didn’t want to pay. This truly breaks my heart.
The server continued speaking in Spanish, making hurtful comments, rolling her eyes, and laughing. It was difficult for her to admit she may have gotten our orders wrong due to the language barrier. Instead of treating us like valued customers, we were treated like criminals.
Please do not support this restaurant, as they do not treat other minorities with respect. I am extremely...
Read moreTERRIBLE SERVICE & MANAGEMENT! Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. You’re likely to have a better experience at Taco Bell than here! We went in today for my husbands birthday! We had a party of 8 and the restaurant was COMPLETELY empty except our table and our service was surprisingly terrible given the restaurant was as empty. When they brought our food everyone's came out except mine no biggie, the waitress said it would come out soon. So we asked for tortillas for the fajitas that had come. We had to ask 3 more times for tortillas. Our entire party completely finished and the waitress has started clearing plates but my food still hasn't come. We kept asking and she said "it just takes longer" mind you I ordered a taco salad, so it probably should have been the fastest thing to make. After the table was cleared and my brother goes to say something again about my food it finally comes. The way the handled it though was even more offensive. No apologies, no manger that came to check on it, in fact the manager proceeded to argue with my dad about it after my dad went to seek him out, making the situation even worse. A shame because the food is decent here, however in Cleburne where Mexican restaurants can be found on literally every corner, save yourself the headache and terrible service and go literally anywhere else. Taco Bell would have been better than the experience...
