Chef'n It Up Pizza — Restaurant in Clermont

Where to begin.. oh how hard it to find great NY/NJ style pizza down here in the free state of Florida. We'll atleast that quest is over! A+ on the pizza today gentlemen A+!

I ordered online, the estimated time for my order to be ready was spot on. Fun fact, ordered a Sicilian slice clearly a gamble on how fresh it woukd be. Blazed past that mystery when the whole pie came out and my slice was placed on a plate with my order. Almost exactly the same time my regular pie came out of the oven also.

The details:

Sicilian- regular- super tasty, almost perfect sauce and cheese, crispy edges and soft dough. Although a bit on the heavy side, the dough did not disappoint! Keep in mind its a bit heavier than the usual so one will probably get you close to full. None the less very enjoyable and tasty.

Round- Regular- as close to perfect all around. Great crust, primo sauce and cheese, perfect crisp, well balanced ratio. Absolutely an all star!

Small shop, 4 ovens, two guys hustling pizza as fast as it can perfectly cook. I was behind a gigantic order and they never skipped a beat! Pizza went in and out like clockwork. Each perfectly executed and boxed.

From oven to customer over and over, this place will only become busier once word gets out!

So I’ve been looking forever for the perfect NY style pizza in Florida. Living in NY/NJ for half my life, I’ve been a snob on pizza. I am so glad to have finally found the NY pizza I’ve been craving for years in downtown Clermont.

A huge rave for the owner Vinnie of Chef’n It Up Slice Bar. I stopped by to check it out and saw that the slices looked just like the slices back home. Tried the plain slice and it brought back all the great memories. It was so good I called my sister and bought two extra large pies to take home. My family were so happy after trying the pizza. Thank you!

This great father and son establishment will bring us so much happiness. Vinny is originally from Brooklyn. He and his son are such nice guys. I absolutely love this spot. Great place to watch the games while having a slice and a beer. Thank you so much Vinnie and son! You guys Rock!!! Btw I heard your cannolis are amazing. Can’t wait to try...

I wish I found this place sooner! Probably the Best pizza I’ve had since moving here 15 years ago. My 8 year old exclaimed it’s the Best pizza he’s Ever had. The sauce is Seasoned and not just Salty or Acidic, there’s Actual seasoning that sends your taste buds to heaven. The pepperoni has the right amount of heat, and is a good thickness (none of that cheap See through pepperoni). Next time I’ll take pics, it was too delicious, I ate it too fast...
