Was not impressed with the new remodeling. No greeted us when we came in to the counter, matter of fact, there was no one even at the counter. Not a cashier or anyone in sight. We were forced to have to use the automated system and try to figure it out on our own. Seeing we were there awhile trying to figure it out there was a good 8-10 minutes of not one employee at the counter. Finally got an order in, sat down and waited about another 10 minutes before a girl brought our food. They got the order wrong but we were hungry and decided to just eat what they brought. In all I wasn't impressed with the remodeling nor the service. Even though there was a sign saying our table had been disinfected it was clear not clean, could find anyone to ask to clean it, and couldn't find any paper napkins either. So I had to go in the bathroom and get toilet paper to wipe the table and it is also where I found 2 employees hiding out playing with their cellphones. Not a good impression at all.Update: On 4/26/2022, we stopped to have breakfast. Went inside and used the automated kiosk to place our order. No issue there, at the end paying for the order the kiosk instructed us to take a seat in the dining room and told us that our order would be bought to us, asked us to assign an order number to receive our food, #20 was ours. We sat down in the dining area and waited. About 10 minutes went by and final I went to the counter and hollered to employee that I needed help. A you g lady came out and when I inquired about our food, she said "yeah I hollered for you 3 times, your food is sitting right there getting cold". When I explained to her what the kiosk had instructed to us, she said "yeah that's just how we do it when we are busy". We were the only ones ordering inside. Read moreUpdate: 01/07/2024. The McDonald's franchise locations in my area has lost the personal touch. This local McDonald's in Clermont, FL on Hwy 50 next to the Hwy 27 interchange no longer greets customers as they come inside. Who ever they have working the register never is there. A customer had to make awkward noises and to raise their voice to call for assistance. Not everyone wants to use the kiosks or use their phones to place their order. I ordered my meal using my phone in the app to pick it up at the counter. No one verified the meal belonged to me. No one spoke to me. I had to get the employee's attention just to stop her and to listen to my request for ketchup and straws. There was no thank you. There was no please come again. The personal touch needs to be reinvented, or this booming franchise may begin a slow downward spiral and die.
Update: 11/30/2022. This location has gone downhill since they remodeled last. Service is slow. No fountain or condiment bar. Have to ask for kechup for the fries, and you have to ask for drink refills. A guy is mopping the floor. He ignored me when i tried to get by him. I even spoke the words "excuse me."

Read moreOk, I already dislike these places, it was getting late pick up after basketball practice etc. We went in to order because there wasn't any room in the drive thru. There were 3 ppl inside other than me, they had already ordered and got their order. They were waiting because the order was wrong. So we order at the kiosk, scan the 20% off order code, checkout. Ok so now we see the code just wasn't there ok, w.e. we wait for our food. 20 min go by and we hear someone yell "ice cream machine is broke" OK I am calling BULLCRAP on every McDonald's machine always being broken. So we say to ourselves great. We wait for our food some more. Finally after 55 minutes, we get our bag. The lady rushes off before we can get a word out. We still need our drinks,sauces,and a refund for the ice cream items we ordered ($20) so about 5 minutes later they see me still standing there and I tell them what I need. She (the manager) huffs and puffs,mumbles something and walks away to get the stuff. So finally an hour later we are out the door. It just blows my mind.
