The Crazy Apron, LLC — Restaurant in Clermont

We stopped in the storefront location after the farmer's market this past Sunday to get some goodies for my son. We're always excited to find a place with vegan pastries because my son is allergic to milk/eggs. Monday morning we gave him the cookies and cream cupcake and to our surprise he said he didn't like it. When I picked it up I realized it was hard as a rock. It was beyond stale and should have been thrown out days before. I don't know if it just wasn't checked or if you were trying to make them last through the weekend before baking new ones but it was disgusting. He didn't eat the cookie we got him on Sunday either. My wife took me to The Crazy Apron for my birthday. I have a ton of food allergies so I always end up going without the usual birthday treats but thankfully we found The Crazy Apron. I purchased one of each item out of the bakery case that was gluten free and vegan. The cookies were soft and chewy (totally tasted like a good old glutinous chocolate chip cookie), the jam filled donut was heavenly, and the cupcakes were moist and delicious with an equally lovely frosting. Ordered dozen salted caramel gluten free cupcakes for baby gender reveal. Communication went perfectly, order was gorgeous with personalized touches from Amanda. From pink and blue horses as toppers, to boy/girl plates and napkins to serve them on and even a personalized gift with a mommy to be badge. She kindly made two centers of gender color. I loved the roulette idea. We all took a bite at the same time, perfect reveal idea.
