Anna in the Raw — Restaurant in Cleveland

Anna in the Raw is such a gem of a lunch spot. We stumbled into here a couple weeks ago, and it is becoming an increasingly regular lunch spot when we're in the office. I typically get the greek salad which comes with hummus, falafel, grape leaves, and yogurt dressing. If I'm really hungry, I add an acai bowl which usually has granola, berries, and nuts on it. My coworker is completely addicted to her turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun.

Anna makes absolutely everything from scratch (falafel, hummus, granola, etc.), and it totally shows in the quality of the food. The downside is that it might take her a couple minutes to put the lunch together, but it is totally worth the wait. You almost feel like you're swinging by a friend's house for lunch.

If you're looking for a healthy and filling lunch, I can't recommend Anna in...

I’m a little disappointed. This place had a lot of noise so I decided to give it a try! I had 0 idea where to park.. Drove around at least 5 times trying to figure out parking.. such a headache. Then I walk in on thursday morning around 11-12 and to my surprise they are also closed. But that isn’t what the hours are. ☹️ I ran out hoping I wouldn’t get a parking ticket. I was not going to pay $7 for parking in the garage and I’m glad that I didn’t! I left right away. I think if you’re a local this place is nice and convenient . But if not, good luck trying this place lol!

I left 3 stars because I wasn’t even able to try the food.. So idk how it was. But honestly I probably won’t be back. Way far out of the way for me and just not worth it if it’s closed...

This place is adorable!! Chef Anna is so sweet and welcoming. I asked if certain sandwiches could be made gluten free- 90% of today’s menu was available gluten free.

I had the egg salad caper wrap (as a gluten free sandwich)- a perfectly light but satisfying lunch.

My friend had the falafel hummus wrap and I didn’t get a photo of anything because we devoured it all in seconds.

We also grabbed some of Anna’s over the moon macaroons. Perfectly chocolaty, coconutty and delectable without being overly sweet.

I will certainly be back.
