Beyond Juicery + Eatery — Restaurant in Cleveland

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My father recently had surgery so for a while he'll be on a soft diet. Being the dutiful daughter that I am I decided we should go to different smoothie restaurants to make this time enjoyable for him. Today's adventure was sadly this restaurant. When my father, nephew, and I walked in we weren't greeted by anyone, they made us feel like we were a nuisance. We looked at the menu, picked out what we wanted and stood there waiting on them for 15+ minutes. I finally asked, "Are you still doing orders?" The young Asian man said "Yes" and went right back to whatever task that he was doing, while the two young African American women (one with a hijab and the other with a regular scarf) didn't even bother to look my way. A couple then entered the restaurant, they immediately were greeted, and the woman with the scarf walked up to the counter and serviced them! Usually I let things slide but seeing my father sitting there hungry and in pain the lioness came out of me! I said "Oh so now you're conveniently taking orders?" The young Asian man awkwardly smiled and said "Yes we take them down there, it's written on the wall." So I exclaimed "Excuse me! It's my first time coming here I didn't know I where the register was, but whether I saw the sign or not, once I asked were you still providing service, shouldn't you have directed me there?!" To which he quietly walked away while the woman with the hijab whispered remarks to him and both of them snickered. I (forgive me Lord) said that "If anything needed to be said it can be said out loud!" Both heads went down. Then the woman with the scarf (after servicing the other couple asked "Were we ordering?" as if to rush us, to which I said "Don't rush me now we've been here ready and waiting!" Sadly the other restaurants that we love were closed and my father needed sustenance so I reluctantly placed an order for my father and nephew. I said I'd NEVER get anything from this establishment especially served by these three individuals! I meant that but mainly I figured by me not ordering something for myself that their orders would be prepared the way they were supposed to be made. Sadly I was wrong! Poorly made and with no flavor! The woman with the hijab tried being funny also because when it came to the order that was made before ours she called PETER'S name out loud and proud, but when it came to the order I placed she just set the cups up on the countertop. A visit to Beyond Juicery + Eatery on Friday, August 22, 2025, around 7:39 p.m., was intended to be a pleasant experience. However, the experience was ruined by the hostile and disrespectful attitudes of two older African American female staff members. The store was not busy at the time. One of the older female staff member, who had gray braids, displayed a rude attitude when answering menu questions during the ordering process. Another older female employee was disrespectful to multiple customers picking up orders. Customers were treated poorly for simply inquiring about their orders. When asked about the poor customer service, the employee removed her name tag and rolled her eyes. I had the worst wrap ever this morning from Beyond Juicery. I was on my way to work and decided to stop in around 8:15AM this morning to get a chicken wrap to go so I can eat on my way to work, unfortunately this was the worst wrap I ever had. The spinach wrap bread was hard as if it was not fresh and crumbled upon me picking it up, the chicken tasted old and was slimy, and the avocado was dark black and tasted spoiled. I could not finish this wrap it was so disgusting and disappointing. I attended on eating this to fill me up for a busy day of work but instead had to waste my entire wrap because it was not fresh. I am super upset to spend $12 on a wrap for it not to be edible. This wrap should not have been sold to customers.
