Man, what a bad first experience. My mother and I stopped in for our first experience, she ordered the chicken, and I ordered the salmon, we got neither on our bowls, I had to stop them at the checkout and ask why we didn't have the proteins that we ordered, and the ladies behind the counter told us that because I got the tofu, that, that, was my protein instead. We both said, right off the bat what we wanted. I said I would pay for both, but it just felt so awful, being told that I was the one who messed up. They got so frustrated with me, even though I expressed my apologies and made it know that it was my first time, and I wasn't sure how they handled orders.
There was such a small selection of foods to put on these tiny bowls, and it was so overpriced for what we got. They barely gave my mother 3 pieces of broccoli and a pinch of bean sprouts. I didn't get the sesame oil that I ordered either. And 1.50 extra for tiny scoops of avacado? Christ. Chipotle might skimp out on one thing or another, but they barely gave us the tiniest amount of every single item that we ordered! I left there still starving!
I found out after my visit, that there was supposed to be miso soup available. I had seen the empty miso pot by the silverware. That would have been nice to have.
Also found out that the bowls themselves used to be much, much larger. It was barely a small salad for over $20. I was disgusted by the service, and the price. The place was dead too, on a Sunday. The tables were all dirty. It was just so disappointing.
Never again. Should have just gone to Ootani or Chipotle.
Don't waste your money or time. Get a bagged salad instead. You'll save so much money, and get so...

NOTE: My items are similar to ones noted 6 days ago. Obviously the local management and store management do not care. It doesn't take a week. Plus just opening the doors would have fixed things today. Executive management better fix this or risk letting this place hurt the brand. Whomever is posting replies as "owner" telling people to email customer service ID passing the buck. So it's more than operatiosn it's also ownership and customer satisfaction. This place can count its days, surely numbered with so many misses.
4 people were working, and we still waited 5 mins with no others placing an order. Everyone was working on other non customer tasks like folding bags or moving stuff around in freezer.
But the worst was the temp on a cool beautiful say it was over 90 degrees in the place so I offered to prop open the doors to which they acknowledged my offer than promptly went on doing things without answering. So, I asked if the AC was broken, to which they completely ignored me, like they couldn't hear or I was speaking too softly. And I don't speak softly often. This wasn't a case of that.
Suggest that the food safety people stop in if they have it this hot all the time. I can guess there's a lot of food spoilage.
I love this chain, but the manager here was obviously a person who doesn't care. She was who ignored my offer for the doors and my question about the AC.
The word for her is rude. That's what we'd call people who behave that way. She should never be in front of customers. I won't be visiting this location again, ever. Suggest that if you care about health, then...
Read moreFrequent customer who is slowly losing confidence with this particular location. The food and service ranges from adequate to good depending on day/time. Rarely have I found both attributes being constantly good. Have three major concerns with this location as oppose to other locations in the greater Cleveland area. One the mix salad blend is often wilted. Two the purple rice is often cold, hard and clumpy. Three and most concerning to me as a customer is the condiment station is often very very filthy. Customer have also notice fruit flys buzzing around that area as well. Customer brought it to the attention of a causcaion Male worker and he responded in a nonchalant manner that he had cleaned it twenty minutes ago. The lemonade stations are also very filthy on the exterior at times and is a major attraction for the fruit flys. Customer is unsure whether the cleanliness issues are acceptable because it is located in a predominantly care free college atmosphere versus locations Beachwood/Woodmere and Cleveland Heights. Someone is eventually going...
