Inferno Flats — Restaurant in Cleveland

Went there on Saturday, June 22nd at 7:00. Started with our party of 12's table being given away to a party of 10 that came in after use. We were seated 20 minutes later. After 20 minutes of waiting a server came over and took our drink order, 15 minutes later another server brought out water and retook the drink order, which were brought out 10 minutes later. The server took our order and we waited..... 50 minutes minute went by and nothing. Next they brought out a "salad" that was missing the chicken and dressing and half the appetizers which came out 5 minutes apart. We waited an additional 20 minutes went by and they started bring out the pizza that the table had ordered, this is the time the server took the salad back saying he would take it off the bill as it would take too long for the kitchen to remake, awe asked about the other appetizers and the over worked server stated they had ran out, not telling us before hand. While the pizzas where being eaten, the rest of us waited for our food. The remainder of the food was brought out cold after the rest of the table had eaten. The eggplant parmesan was undercooked and cold (at $18 a plate is was an eaten entree). We waited an additional 30 minutes for our Bill's which had charges items that were not received on there and had to wait for that to be removed.

All said and done this was the first time we had been up there. The pizza were good, but the experience was terrible. The servers were so overworked you could see it on the faces, there was absolutely no coordination in the kitchen area or with any of the staff, our food was sent to the wrong table (which we watched this happen with a few orders) and then brought to ours. I am not one to complain, but this was warranted. ...

Food was fine. Service was horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

My family and I went on a Friday, early evening. When we arrived, we were the only party. The server came promptly, but after she brought our drinks, she stopped coming to our table. She was working the bar, so initially I gave her the benefit of the doubt. But then, she’d just stand around. At one point, she was fully engaged in conversation with some customers, who seemed to be friends. All while we’re waiting on her to take our order. Which she fully knew. I finally had to get up and go to the bar to find someone else, who could take our order. My kids and wife were hungry.

The food came and wasn’t bad, but again, NO ONE came to check on us after that. I am FULLY convinced that we could have waited another hour or two and no one would have bothered to stop by. If we were dishonest, we probably could have left without paying and no one would have known. That didn’t happen because, again, I had to get up and go to the bar to ask for our check and boxes.

And our first server? She stood there with her back to me, doing nothing, while someone else spoke with me. It’s the first time I’ve left a restaurant without giving a tip. The service was just that bad. I was hesitant to go in the first place, given the number of poor reviews, but I decided to give them a chance. I was wrong to do that and I won’t ever go again.

Maybe I misunderstood how the place does business, but I thought it was an actual restaurant, where servers came to your table, took your order, came back to check on you, and followed up so you could pay. Were those unrealistic...

Where do I even start? Security? A joke. There was a real situation and they all ran away when help was needed. Bartenders? Scam artists. I ordered a vodka soda with pineapple. Girl tried to be slick by pouring me a soda with pineapple (no vodka) and tried to charge me $20… I took one sip and said ARE YOU JOKING?!?! Girl was stunned that I told her off to make it right and I don’t know who she thinks she’s fooling!!!! Finally got my drink which by the way… is in a tiny plastic cup.. and asked someone else what the real price was. Needless to say, it’s not $20!!! And needless to say that bartender avoided me for the rest of the night. My boyfriends friends all had fraudulent charges posted to their accounts from there and are calling their banks to get their money back. Please do better. As another bartender who’s been working in busy night clubs for 6+ years I would never be so desperate for money by scamming paying customers or even work for a company where security doesn’t do their job.. the BATHROOMS had heavier security than the floor… I rarely post bad reviews. I know how some people post them to complain about mediocre things. Our experience was terrible and we were all shook watching the night unfold.

Update: they also would not let me boyfriend and I back in to grab my $500 Apple Watch that I left...
