I have been here twice now and this is a very aesthetically pleasing coffee shop that recently opened in downtown Cleveland. I have only had their coffee drinks so I can only comment on those and they were decent. I have the lavender coffee drink which was surprisingly good and not overpowering with the floral taste. The second time I visited, I went with my sister and although we had ordered much in advance, another woman took her drink and we had to go back to the counter and explain the situation. It took longer than necessary for them to understand our order and what happened, which left a sour taste in my mouth. It seemed disorganized and they should really be calling people out by their names to announce drinks so drinks don't get taken. The customer service is subpar. They never greet you hello, have flat moods and rarely have recommendations for things to try. I hope the owners are able to train their staff on customer service, because that is a key factor that retains customers. I doubt I will be going back as there are a dozen other coffee shops within walking distance in...
Read moreWhile visiting Cleveland, we stopped in this adorable coffee shop for a quick meeting with a friend. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, coffee, and tea. I'll admit I found the chia pudding a little strange - it was almost whipped rather than a traditional pudding texture (very solid and a little rich). But everyone in our party seemed to enjoy their items.
The atmosphere is a mixed bag, but mostly nice. While I loved the greenery on the walls (which made it feel VERY inviting), the entire back wall is windows, and the sun beat in the whole time we were there (mid-morning). It was a cold day, but the sun made me overly warm while we were there, and it resulted in some shifting around to avoid the sun glare in the eyes.
Overall, I would recommend Milk + Honey. They had some very interesting food and beverage choices that made it stand out from the typical fare of some other coffee shops. I would just perhaps suggest going there later in the day to...
Read moreWhat a lucky find! I stumbled upon Milk & Honey through Google Maps while searching for a coffee shop nearby. The great review rating caught my attention, and it was just an 8-minute walk from my hotel. This charming metro coffee shop exceeded my expectations. As a first-time visitor, I sought guidance from Vera, who proved to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She patiently walked me through the coffee beverage menu, displaying remarkable expertise. Her politeness and willingness to assist made me feel welcomed. Ordered: Lavender Latte with oat milk and Honey Cinnamon Latte with Oat Milk. Both were exceptionally unique and definitely worth stopping by for. The coffee and flavorings were of higher quality, leaving a delightful and memorable impression. If you're in the area, stop by. Milk & Honey offered a pleasant experience with great service and fantastic coffee. Definitely worth my time to...
