My children and I were stranded in Cleveland right by Shmoes tavern. We hadn't eaten all day We are from Pittsburgh and we have been here since the butt crack of dawn trying to get my daughter enrolled in a college program up here. Moe's was close and they serve food so I called them and asked if they do any charity work and the gentleman said yes here and there so I asked him if his restaurant or whoever owns it would help me and my children out by maybe giving us a few sandwiches even cold cuts just so we had at least a little something to eat... no money, alcohol or anything just a few sandwiches for me and my children and he told me no that they couldn't give us anything at all and he then hung up on me. I refuse to judge Cleveland by this one person who couldn't see past helping a mother and her two children get just a little something to eat even a peanut butter bread to last until we got back to Pittsburgh but now we have to use the 12 dollars we have left for gas to try and get home because we can't afford it monetarily and apparently Moe's can't...

Hypothetically, they may even track you down at another restaurant and encourage you to change your reviews. Strictly hypothetically of course.
Kudos Geoff. You care about your work and I applaud you. Thanks for accommodating us out of towners when you were closing, being a goos sport, and for helping to make my experience in Cleveland memorable.
P.S. Cleveland is really...
Read moreAwesome place! My wife and I had time to spare before seeing a musical at Playhouse Square. We had parking passes in a small lot across the street from Moe's and had never been there before and never heard of it. Took the chance to go in and get a drink and some appetizers before the show. What great luck was that! It has such a great atmosphere and is very customer friendly. We sat at the bar next to a group of guys that were going to the Brown's game that entertained us while we were there with their stories of great adventures. The bartender was the owner's wife, who greeted us when we entered the place with an electric personality. In such a short time, it was a very enjoyable experience. Can't wait to get back! Terry and...
