Ohio City Burrito — Restaurant in Cleveland

Wow, what an embarrassing experience today at this location. The guy in the partial blue / black hat yelled at me for getting a limeade. I was getting a fountain drink, and my son told me he wanted to limeade instead. So I fully intended on paying for it and the guy yelled at me saying hey it’s an extra up charge That’s not a fountain drink.. I said yes that’s not a fountain drink. I don’t mind paying the difference sir.. granted, this was in a room, full of people and people were looking at me, causing me to feel embarrassed. So I told my boyfriend to go up and pay for it. When he approached the register, the guy came over and was rudely talking to the cashier saying we didn’t pay for the limeade even tho my boyfriend was standing in line to pay for the limeade. My boyfriend said to the cashier what I was trying to do was pay for the limeade and get the cup for the fountain drink that we already paid for - he told the cashier.

Then, after we paid for it, we sat down to enjoy our meal only to be met with stares by him And the entire line staff and them talking about me. Little did they know I actually speak Spanish and I understood every mean and humiliating words they said about me And my family. He made us extremely uncomfortable that I left in tears crying after my meal.

We always have supported this location and it’s sad that we had such a horrible Experience. Definitively will not be returning and will be sharing with my friends and family to avoid this location...

They were very rude when we went in July. They failed to tell me that their meat was spicy, nor did they have it written on the board. I gave this to my child, who immediately noticed it was spicy. I asked them for something else as my child is still hungry. So they offered me something and I told them I was unsure if he would like it. He did not, I asked for a refund and they got extremely rude. The employees kept looking at the board and I kept saying “it’s not up there” no where did it state the meat was spicy. They called a “manager” who was even more rude. He said “whatever” when responding to my complaint. It wasn’t until I start RECORDING, he gets otp with what I assume is the REAL manager. This guy didn’t know how to do a refund, he was walked through the steps of how to do one. When he told his manager why he was giving a refund he had no push back. So why originally was there an issue? How are you running a business and rude to customers especially when YOUR in the wrong. The food my little cousin had was terrible as well but I never mentioned that. Menu is pictured only thing that says anything about being hot is the SALSA, which...

Horrible horrible horrible.... Cleary most reviews are from white Americans no offense I have white, Scottish, and polish family I dont mean for it to come off racist. Anywho I listened to reviews and decided have lunch here food looks like it sits there all day it is not even warm. Chorizo is not authentic it taste like ground beef, the chicken taste very very very bland and is boiled, and the corn tortillas are a joke I mean seriously u have a westside market less than 2mins away with fresh (real) tortillas. They charge for sour cream .25 a taco which only seems silly because condiments arent typically an extra charge like anywhere. And their horchata tastes like you're sipping it straight out of a powered packet. This place is nowhere near authentic in any way shape or form. If you enjoy bland cold non Spanish food this is your spot! I should have known when the lady working here referred to the place as the subway of Spanish food. I should have turned and walked out . Welp that's $30 the will never get...
