If you're looking for a healthy and delicious Easter Sunday brunch spot, look no further than Town Hall. I recently had the pleasure of dining there and was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. Upon arriving, I was immediately struck by the bright and airy atmosphere of the restaurant, which was adorned with charming decor. The staff was warm and welcoming, greeting me with a smile and promptly seating me at a table on a busy easter Sunday with no reservation. Throughout the meal, the service was attentive without being overbearing, and my server was happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had about the menu. Now, onto the food! The menu featured a variety of healthy and flavorful options, ranging from savory omelets to fresh salads to hearty bone broth bowls. I opted for the LoX OF LoVe, which came with a generous serving of roasted potatoes. It was both satisfying and nutritious, and I appreciated the use of high-quality, wholesome ingredients. To accompany my meal, I ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice mimosa which was refreshing and had no pulp. The restaurant also offered a variety of other beverage options, including Lattes, coffee, and tea. I wanted to try the Iced Rose Matcha Latte but they no longer carried, my man order something else that tasted so awful that had hints of milk, spice and ginger but it was stern NO for me. Also it’s a 🐕 friendly restaurant but they should highly consider having a designated area for animals. Overall, I highly recommend TownHaLL for anyone looking for a delicious and healthy Sunday brunch. With its welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and tasty food options, it's sure to please even the most discerning diners.

What a find!!! A friend suggested this spot while I was in town, and I’m so glad we went! I wish we had more restaurants like this in metro Detroit. When we walked in we were greeted by the nicest hostess, and sat right away. It was a Wednesday evening. Our server promptly got our drinks, and she was excellent. One of the best servers I have had in a very long time, and I notice these things because I worked in bars and restaurants. Another thing I noticed is the diverse mix of people (and pets - it’s dog friendly!!) which was awesome! From college students, to professionals, to older people, to children, everyone was here. The vibe was awesome, and the decor was really cool, too… like an earthy and natural vibe. The menu is quite extensive and is tailored to healthy eating as well as some food allergies and sensitivities - definitely a spot for the health conscious. I have a pretty strict diet at the moment and soy is something I have to avoid, and the server was more than happy to ask about that. Unfortunately none of the desserts were dairy, soy, and gluten free, but I wasn’t surprised because that’s sooo hard to find and I usually don’t eat dessert anyway. The menu is easily marked so you know what is vegan, paleo, gluten free, etc. I got the bone broth and the sweet potatoes, and my mom got the burger. She said it was delicious! Mine was as well. I will definitely order this again. Also, the prices are so fair for the amount of food you get. This place is a (maybe not so hidden) GEM! Will absolutely be back, and I also want to tell the owners - please franchise this (start with Detroit)!! And please consider dairy, soy, and gluten free options! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

We tried this place based on recommendations from friends. If it's your 1st time, and it's a weekend, I highly recommend to go to the "counter-service" section since the "sit-down-and-have-a-server-take-your-order" option might take longer (especially if you have kids). On a busy weekend night, our orders came out fast! The hubby ordered lamb chops and a "leg day" smoothie, our 2 kids got baked chicken tenders, an almond butter-jelly sandwich, and milkshakes. I ended up getting a new york strip steak with sweet potatoes and corn. The hubby's lamb chops looked amazing, and he said that it was good. The almond butter-jelly sandwich was tasty(4-yr.old opinion), and the baked chicken tenders were decent, but had a "weird" texture (picky 7-yr. old). The milkshakes were good- chocolate and vanilla. My steak? I was underwhelmed and borderline disappointed. I ordered medium, and looked like it was well done. It did not help that the steak was underseasoned too! The side dishes were yummy, but c'mon! If the dish is $35, I certainly did not pay for the side dishes though. It would be nice if someone from the staff checks on the diners once food is served, but then again we made the choice to use the "counter-service" option. The idea of bringing my chopping board "plate" (with my disappointing steak) across the room, and then request to have them make a new one was, IMO, an inconvenience. Are we coming back? The hubs suggested yes, and perhaps don't order the steak next time. So there you go...

We were excited to try this place and were worried we wouldn't even be able to get a table as Town Hall is known to be a very popular place in a very popular area. Fortunately Tuesday is one of their slow days so we were seated immediately upon arrival. The atmosphere was great, and our server McCaela was very nice and helpful. We were particularly impressed that we had the option to have free unlimited samples of their long (and apparently consistently changing) beer menu. Though most of the samples my coworkers and I didn't much care for, I found something I liked, while another guy just compromised on his choice as the samples he had of his preferred stouts didn't appeal to him very much. Really, the problem unfortunately was the food. I got the salmon, one of the more expensive menu items, and really didn't enjoy it. Tasted too "fishy" as they say. I did enjoy the sweet potato fries and chicken tender appetizer we got, but our guy who got his cauliflower lettuce wrap appetizer said he was unimpressed. Another guy who got the grilled cheese and tomato soup also didn't care for his meal, and was particularly unimpressed with the tomato soup part of it. The previously aforementioned disappointed stout drinker got the Korean BBQ Flatbread, which he said was very good. Otherwise, 3 out of 4 of us agreed we wouldn't be back here to eat in the future. Apparently the place is a great party spot in the evening so maybe we'll give that a try but we'll eat somewhere else first.
