Souper Market — Local services in Cleveland

Let me tell y’all about this place called The Soupermarket. Downtown Cleveland location on St. Clair. They have the most amazing salads in Cleveland and the grilled cheese is also just as good. The soups are a little salty sometimes. But still worth every dollar.

But the problem that I have is that I don’t like provolone cheese. It causes me to itch along with other things as of I’m allergic.

The grilled cheese sandwiches aren’t grilled until you order it.

I asked for them to grill mine without the provolone cheese and I was told that they aren’t doing that because it’s a waste of money. I’ve never experienced going to a restaurant and not being able to have food modified for whatever reason. Especially when it’s something as simple as removing a slice of cheese before it’s tossed in the grill. $20 a day of $400 a month for a salad and grilled cheese sandwich.

Now that’s 2 people that’s not eating there at all which is a $800 per month loss for a single slice of cheese that I’m still paying for and just don’t want.

Rude manager (franchise owner). I was sitting at the counter right by the soups. I ordered soup and a sandwich to dine in, as did the person I was with.The manager took my soup up to the front register and left it there, even though it was closer to the place I was sitting. I went up to get it while he was getting the soup for my friend. I went and sat back down. He took my friends soup up to the register, and said that will be $17.00 and change. I held up a $20.00 and he said I had to come up to the register to pay. We were the only ones there at the time. I went and paid and my friends soup was sitting by the register. I took it back to him and the manager then left my change on the counter by the register. He then walked right by us at the counter to make our sandwiches.
