The atmosphere is great since it is on the water and there is outside seating. They also have a nice fire pit with a big wood Jenga game, making it nice. My margarita was nothing special and the food was pretty bad. Everything was overcooked. I asked for pink in my burger so it would be juicey, instead it was dry and grey inside. My husband's burger was even worse than mine. Both kids had chicken fingers. The one came out with our meal and was extremely overcooked and overbreaded to the point the chicken was rubbery and there was a thin line of dark brown (burnt) around the meat. We thought since the second child had to wait that his might be better but his was only slightly less burnt. The waitress was extremely nice and attentive. We were there at the end of the night so I didn't complain about the food because I knew they were probably trying to clean up, however after I paid the check I did tell her about the chicken. I told her to tell the cook not to cook it so much. She was very attentive through the whole meal but I got the impression she didn't really care now and wasn't going to tell the cook. Recommendations... Go for a bottled drink and sit...
Read moreWe had a Friday outdoor reservation for 6 for 6:15 and were not seated until 7:00. The kitchen closed at 8:00. There were at least two tables at which people were finished eating but continued to occupy their table. We asked the 'manager' to suggest the parties finish-up as they have other parties waiting to be seated and it was close to closing. The manager refused and said there was nothing he could or would do. He was actually had a nasty attitude (I think he was frustrated but didn't have the courtesy or confidence to resolve the issue.) Another suggestion is to put up a sign at the entrance that reservations are good for 90 minutes after which you will be expected or asked to vacate your table. Almost every other restaurant with outdoor reservations has this policy posted. It will be a long time before any of the six...
Read moreThis is one of the best places in Cleveland to visit. It is definitely a Hidden Gem that most people do not know about but really should. Nestled along the Cuyahoga River just off of Columbus Avenue you will find this fantastic Park area that features a restaurant run by the Metroparks as well as a great launch for a kayak or paddleboard. The area is very clean safe and secure and heavily frequented by a variety of water enthusiast. I spend many days taking my paddle board out of this location for a stroll up the river past all of the restaurants and bars along the edge as I head out into the lake for a spectacular view of Lake Erie and a sunset. I highly recommend everyone check this location out if nothing more than just to sit inside the restaurant and have a beverage or a...
