The Den by Denny's — Restaurant in Cleveland

Only been here once... my order was incorrect 3x's. 1st time I was given sausage but ordered all bacon. 2nd time not given correct amount of bacon. 3rd time my eggs were missing. By the time I got the 3rd order I had been there over an hour and it was almost 2am at this point. I was told my order was correct.. I should have checked but I was tired and frustrated and jus wanted to leave, so I believed the lady. When I got to my friends house 20 min away.. I noticed my eggs were missing. I was told I had to come get a refund now or to wait til 4pm the next day to get a refund but I explained I couldn't because I was returning home tomorrow. And I was too tired to continue driving. He told me that even tho I do not live in Cleveland I needed to drive an hour back to Cleveland to get a refund of my money if I couldn't tonight. I googled the time this dennys opened the next day, Google said 11am. So I asked the manager Vince why Google's time was different from his.. he said Google was wrong. The manager Vince was not helpful, empathetic, or informed of policy in this situation or corporates number. I left my name and number for me to come in the next time I was in Cleveland to get a refund. I told him I was making a complaint with corporate,BBB, and Ohio attorney...

This place steals from students. The food is mediocre and the service is horrendous. Food is never prepared timely and the workers are incredibly rude. I'd rather have an actual Denny's with quality customer service than a bunch of unorganized workers and condescending attitudes. I ordered online through a third party app (an app that you are forced to use by this excuse of a restaurant.. they refuse to take phone-in orders). Each time I order the app says that the food is ready, I go to the restaurant, and still have to wait 45 minutes in a mass of confused chaotic students. The last time I went there I vowed to never go again. I placed an order and was charged, went to the restaurant, and apparently they lost my order and refused to give me the food I paid for. The worker then proceeded to get into a yelling match and attempted to sic a cook/manager on me because SHE refused to give me food. I checked my account the next day and luckily the app reimbursed me. Honestly, if you are questioning going here, SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to a place where the workers...

The Den is FIRE. Food is so good. The staff are the sweetest people you will ever meet. The vibes are retro diner and super homey. The wait usually takes awhile from 8pm-2am since it's the only restaurant open until late at CWRU. That being said, expect to wait for sometimes an hour for food. When in doubt order ahead. This is not in any way the staff's fault, however. Our school needs more than just one food place open past 9 pm. There are also only about 4-5 workers trying to feed hundreds of starving college kids. When you walk in during peak hours, hundreds of takeout bags line the counter. The app which we order food through for the Den is also extremely inconvenient and annoying. CWRU needs to switch their app for how we order food and get another late night location on the map! The Den is the only option which is not good for students who are hungry and staff who are overworked...
