Unfortunately, myself and my family had a horrible customer service experience at the Captain D’s in Clinton, MS on September 11, 2022. While attempting to order, I had questions about different fish options (that I did not see posted on the sign). My husband asked if there were grilled options, and she told us the options, my husband then asked if that could be made into a meal, and the attendant said to him “I just said that didn’t I?” Into the speaker, she also said, “ugh, this day just keep getting worse.” I’m not sure how a customer asking questions about meal options worsened her day, but, I immediately told my husband we wouldn’t be eating at that restaurant. My husband, who’d been looking forward to this meal since before we went to church, decided instead of going through the drive through he’d go in for service. Unfortunately, the same rude person was a the counter. He began the order, which started with our family meal and not the salmon he inquired about for me earlier and she said “So now you don’t want the salmon?!” He then said “am I not allowed to order multiple things?” She then said, “then why were you asking about salmon if you’re not going to order it?” He asked for the manager. To our surprise, she said she was the manager! Linda (she wouldn’t provide her last name). My husband wisely decided we wouldn’t be eating there today. It’s unfortunate that this individual missed an opportunity for service recovery multiple times and, as a person in a leadership position, set such a poor example for the other employees. I’m sure this is not the experience corporate leadership wants their customers to have.

Read moreFirst I would like to start with the smell surrounding the building.... it smelled worse than sewage. I immediately had a second thoughts. Secondly I would like to speak on it she inaccuracy of my order, I did not get breadsticks or the extra sides. The macaroni in the kids meal was dry. Seems as if I was given what they wanted me to have. I asked for a type of juice they said they had lemonade and I got Sprite. Another mishap. I called before arriving in a regular employee continuously referred to herself as the manager. I simply returned the food, and seen a manager shadowing the employee who gave me the inaccurate order. I was told the refund would appear on my card and I have yet to see it. This Captain D’s location should work on their customer service and the accuracy of the orders for their customers. I’m not sure if they could control the smell surrounding the building coming from their dumpster, but it is something to consider being that customers have to smell that before purchasing food
