Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Clinton

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM - This Domino's has fallen apart since the pandemic. After a few years working for Domino's, I would bet it's a management issue as well as wages too low to be worth it. It's been 90 minutes since I ordered and the tracker hasn't moved. I've been on hold for 10 minutes trying to find out what's going on. This is after they canceled my order last night because they said their driver was "out". Avoid this location for a long while. It's been like this for a year now and I don't see it getting better any time soon...

Update: It's been a year or so since I wrote this review. A few days ago I used up the last of a gift card and got a specialty pizza, of which I customized fairly heavily. It might have been the best pizza I've ever had from Domino's, and it came from the Clinton location. It could not have been better if I had made it myself.

Since that last review I've ordered many times. I get gift cards from work and it's sometimes just the most convenient option. It seems they're finally back up to speed with delivery times, quality of product, and customer service. I've adjusted my rating up to 4 stars, but the 5th one may never come. After two years of working for Domino's, I know they don't pay their employees enough. It's just a matter of time before the cycle restarts and their employees get tired of their abuse. Don't bother ordering for delivery from here if you want your pizza any time this century. Back in the beginning of September I ordered for delivery from this store (Clinton) around 6PM. I had just been released from the hospital that day and friends staying with me to help me out. figured I would buy them dinner. At 8:45PM i gave up waiting and went to bed. They stayed up and waited and said it finally arrived around 9:30PM. So..fast forward to today, 11/12. Figured i would try them again as I had ordered from this location a few times with reasonable delivery times. Figured it was a fluke. Nope! Ordered at 6:30PM. At 7:30 I looked and the order tracker still showed being on prep. I called the store and was told it would be another hour at least before they got my order in the oven. OK folks, it's not like we ordered 6 large pizza's or something. The order was for one medium pizza and I always tip more than 20% so it wasn't that. All I can guess is it must be those commercials they are running for 2 minute pickup or its free. Guess it's the delivery side that suffers. As for me? I'm done with these people. they could at least put something on the site or call you if it will be a very long wait. I'm sorry but 3 plus hours is ridiculous. Guess I'm using Pizza hut again. July 2, 2023- Just had an ordered canceled and doubtful I will get a refund. The dominos tracker online said that it was ready when we headed out and even at the screen in store said my order was ready but there was nothing there for us. My name soon disappeared from the ready screen in store but still said ready on my tracker app. We were told to wait another 15-20 min which we followed up at 15 min to hear the order wasn't even being made yet. They would communicate barely or horribly on getting any information. We decided to cancel the order at this point and I am doubtful of the refund. They wouldn't even give an answer on the refund timeframe. I'll even update this review to a 2 star if I get it :).The only reason I even came to this one was because the Roy lobby was temporarily closed for carryout.

July 12, 2023 Update: Decided to wait till the end of the week for the refund and it did not go through. I submitted a ticket online on July 11th and the GM called me the following day. She verified the refund didn't go through and submitted a refund for me. GM said it would be the standard 3-5 business days and I trust that. I will be updating this review to a 3 stars. The 3 is faith that the store will get better based on what the GM told me. I will not be ordering from this dominos store and do not recommend it...
