Being from the Ann Arbor/Detroit - MI area, I was surprised to see a hungry howies all the way out here in Utah. It was nice to see a familiar pizza place I like while I was on my business trip out here. I have worked & managed Hungry Howies locations in the Ann Arbor/Brighton/Wixom area for 15 years for franchise owner Dave Plait and I was extremely impressed with my visit to this location. The management and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Some of the best customer service I have ever encountered anywhere! Seeing that this location was located so far from the HQ in Madison Heights, MI, I half expected the quality of the product to take a dip from improper training. I shouldn't have made any unreasonable assumptions. The quality of product was better than most stores in the metro Detroit area. The young girl managing this store deserves a raise. She is doing a phenomenal job. Great product! Very clean location and EXCELLENT Customer Service!! Keep up the good work!

Read moreThis review is long overdue! Thanks Denver (store manager) for making my first experience at your restaurant great! I heard about Hungry Howie's through a promo, and tried them out. The food was great for us adults and the kids. The crust was amazing! The thing that really impressed me was how the manager/owner of that franchise location, Denver, was so involved. He greeted each customer, made sure the orders were right, and appeared to have the confidence and respect from his team. While my order was finishing, he talked with me and other patrons on the lobby about what makes Hungry Howie's unique and ways you can customize your order. It's not just another "option A, B, or C" type pizza joint. I felt like I was being served in a small "Mom and Pop shop" rather than a national franchise. I will definitely...

Where is the cheese? Where was the "flavored crust" that's in the name? Garlic Cajun should be something you taste, instead all I got was occasional onion flavor, which certainly isn't Cajun or garlic.
Beyond that, let's talk this take on "deep dish". Deep dish, especially this Detroit style is supposed to have cheese... and this pizza felt like it had about half the cheese it seemed like it was supposed to have. Also had about half the toppings it seemed like it should have, but don't worry, if you like extra sauce and pizza you have to recut yourself, you will love it.
16 and a hald bucks for this, I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay disappointed. A 6 dollar domino's pizza blew this out of the water. How this place has 4.5 star...
