Lucia & Gretel’s Guatemalan cuisine — Restaurant in Clinton

This place is nothing short of FANTASTIC! We did a takeout order last night and when we arrived, it wasn’t quite ready so we waited in the car. The gentleman who took our order came outside to signal that our food was ready and it was PIPING hot! Thankfully we love around the corner and it was still PIPING hot when we got home and everything was perfect. We got the Tres Amigos and Chicken Al Ajillo and the meat was very flavorful and the rice…the rice was so different it was AMAZING. Both meals came with freshly made corn tortillas. A+ all around and I’m so happy they’re only around the corner! Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!!

You can eat there too, plenty of seating!! What a great addition...

I don't give reviews often, but this place is every bit of 5 stars in my opinion. The restaurant is very humble in appearance and the food is absolutely amazing. The guacamole is fresh and delicious. The steak is grilled and seasoned perfectly as not to ruin the flavor of the steak. The same can be said for the chicken. If you're the type that has to slather meat in some type of sauce; then you obviously know nothing about good food and should probably continue to the McDonald's down the road. The food at Lucia and Gretel's is top notch and does not need to be tampered with. I cannot recommend this place enough.... oh... and the prices are pretty...

Delicious, fresh Latin cuisine specifically Central American food. Everything from the fresh juice to the rice and pico de gallo were amazing. I tried a steak dish, baleadas (a version of quesadillas basically) , beef soup (great for a sick day and for a light meal) , and the freshly made mango juice. The steak dish had yuca fries which were so light and crunchy. I absolutely loved them. Everything is well priced and large portions. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant in Clinton which brings much needed variety to the food offered...
