Panaderia Cafe Oaxaca — Restaurant in Clovis

We went there after the Clovis Christmas Parade, we picked two cookies, one for each child, but what was a disappointment is when we went to the register to pay they told us we needed to spend $8 in order to use our card,and we only wanted 2 cookies, and there is no sign anywhere that states that. Had we known there was going to be a minimum purchase requirement we would have gone somewhere else, we felt kinda obligated cause we already had cookies picked an handed to the kids. They are a bit expensive and feel they should let people know before hand if you are going to use a card, you will have to spend at least $8 to use any card . So forget about walking in to just grab your self one thing on a card, bring cash. They waited until we picked something to tell us. Not satisfied with the way they fail to warn you ahead of time. Still think they should have a sign posted . So it can give us the option before we pick...

WOW!!! I have traveled all over the world and have tried many different pan dulce. The ones I have bought from this cafe was absolutely AMAZING!! I purchased the vegan pan and I was BLOWN AWAY! It was fresh and didn’t feel “dried out”. I purchased all vegan items which is hard to even find in the Central Valley. I was able to get the concha, pink twist, crunchy cinnamon roll and the vegan tiramisu. My favorites from this establishment would have to be the concha and the tiramisu! I am shocked and can’t even tell it’s any different! The tiramisu was the perfect consistency and I can’t even tell it’s vegan. The mascarpone or the cream was so good I can’t believe it’s a dairy alternative. I grew up in fresno but now live in NY. I will definitely be making the long journey when I come and visit. I NEED THE CONCHA AND TIRAMISU...

Separate display case for the vegan items, so cool! Family run business who are super passionate about what they do and treat their customers like family. Sister who became vegan no longer lives and works here, but they continue on the tradition for their vegan customers!

All the pan tastes great, very soft conchas that last a week! Pinneaple turnovers and cinnamon rolls are a must try. Haven't tried the donuts and tres leches but they look good! Waiting patiently for vegan elote, since that's my favorite!
