IHOP — Restaurant in Cocoa Beach

Today on 6/15/25 about 8:30 -9:00 am on Father’s Day, my wife and I entered and waited to be seated A normal time. The girl said follow me, we followed to be seated in a booth, another waitress yelled aggressively that is taken we are waiting for them! We were placed at an extremely small table. I asked how can we be seated at this table when they are not even here? The waitress that seated also don’t Agee with what happened. There were several tables not bussed I would gladly have waited if asked. I felt degraded by the actions so I told the waitress I’m not good with this and I was leaving . I was very polite as I got near the door I hear sir sir I have another booth . This was next to the kitchen and bathroom. I said no thank you. Why couldn’t they hold that booth for the other? . Very bad service , rude , degrading . This was one our go to breakfast spots. But I will no longer enter an IHOP. This was very bad!!! And on Father’s Day !!! So now my question: is it required to make a reservation at ihop to get served? So while I was eating my breakfast at another restaurant, I called IHOP an asked to have a boot by a window for two, I was told we don’t take reservations it is first come first serve. Please give me an explanation of what happened this morning . This is truly favoritism . Horrible horrible . I would love to hear from IHop for a valid...

Food : Good

Service : The manager/cook was very nice.

My boyfriend and I were the first customers and waited.

Then a Caucasian guy walks in and goes straight to the coffee machine and gets a cup and sits down.

We had to wait for the server,Leslie,who came in after the man came in.

She did put her stuff down and served us which was kind , but she didn’t expect customers to be up so early because she should of been there before IHOP open.

Leslie was our server and she was very sarcastic especially about the prices but it was nice she offered cheaper options, even thought I didn’t ask.

While taking the order she was irritated while we were ordering, she was rushing us.

While I was ordering she got frustrated and cut me off, I think she got overwhelmed when I was ordering.

The coffee cup she gave me had red lipstick marks , ( not my lip marks) .She got annoyed that I told her this as well.

Idk if Leslie has a issue with brown folks but she needs to do better as human and for her job.

She insisted I order the cheaper option and she said everything I was asking for is in this option she offered and cheaper, because Leslie wants me to save . In the end , my food was incomplete, I was missing my toast lol.

But my fault I listened to Leslie.

P.S I don’t usually comment on reviews but it’s that terrible. But on the bright side I had my handsome...

I took my five-year-old granddaughter there a few days ago for the first time as she really wanted a pancake with blueberries and bananas I wanted French toast it took about 40 minutes for food to come out and they weren't that busy the server did keep telling us that our food should be out soon well by the time our food arrived the place of gotten pretty busy we had asked a few times if we could be moved to another table because there were flies she said the other tables were for bigger parties which I understand but the Flies got worse as people were coming and going it wasn't a very enjoyable meal her pancakes were good they did an awesome :-) on her pancake my French toast was soggy but they did replace it quickly my granddaughter doesn't want to ever go back because of the Flies then when the waitress killed a flying insect with her bare hand it was time to pay and leave. Other people at the two tables by us were also complaining about the Flies not sure what was going on hopefully they fix the problem I've always loved going to IHOP with my friend wish my granddaughter could have enjoyed it as much as I...
