I'm just leaving the Inn today and had a wonderful experience a few days here. I flew down to see a space launch and stayed here. The inn is what I'd refer to as a boutique hotel. It's quaint and personable. The hotel is small, some areas could use updating like the rugs on the stairs and hallway BUT this is a hotel on the beach with saltwater exposure so this I don't mind, it was not dirty or musty or anything. Now the room I stayed in was immaculate and updated, this is what matters. There was a wall vase with a real rose in the beautiful bathroom, the sheets were crisp and clean, the bed comfortable and the ocean view was incredible from my balcony. The room has distressed antique look with nice decor. The hotel is adults only, so it's quiet and clean. The grounds are well kept and lovely, flowers, 2 resident hotel dogs, 2 parrots and some months butterfly garden enclosure I hear. The pool is clean and they play relaxing music outside feels like a spa. There are fountains all over and ypu hear the beautiful water everywhere as well as the ocean which is through some vegetation on a Boardwalk, 1 min walk, they lend you umbrellas and beach chairs to use free. There's a shuffleboard court and a putting green for fun. Ok so here's the only complaint but not really bc it didn't matter at all, the room has no personal fridge, coffee pot or microwave which I'm used to BUT the hotel does have a common area where at any hour you can get coffee or tea, it has a honor system bar and fridge with cold drinks that you take as needed and fill out a slip to be charged to your room. There is fresh cooked breakfast each morning, this morning I had the best muffin I've ever eaten, a small quiche with ham and cheese, fresh fruit bowl and the coffee was wonderful, and fresh squeezed oj. There was a boil your own egg bar and a yogurt bar as well. There is a rooftop deck where I watched the launch from. I believe they have a lounge with a pool table too. There are all these little nooks to hang out in, inside with AC, a breezeway, outside little corners, seems like there's nobody here but you sometimes. They have a cheese social hour each night. This was truly a lovely experience and I really recommend staying here if you're traveling without children. There is such a lovely personal touch here like you've been whisked away to paradise, a very different experience than a corporate, giant hotel which...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed here for two nights prior to our cruise out of Port Canaveral. It's a quaint bed and breakfast. Very Mom and Pop feel to it, but we loved it. It's a little old school and you get physical keys for your room.
The room itself was very nicely decorated and furnished. The bed was very comfortable and we loved sitting out on the patio by the pool. Our room did get a little warm at night while sleeping even though the A/ C was running. Would be great to have a fan in the room to help circulate the air around. The shower was a little quirky, I think they were trying to use a regular shower head as a rain shower. There isn't a door on the shower, just a glass wall with an opening. When showering water would splash outside the shower.
We took several dips in the pool. We really enjoyed the spa music out by the pool, it was very relaxing. It was very relaxing just sitting outside our patio listening to the afternoon rain and spa music.
Love that you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. They do offer complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas that can be checked out at the desk.
I loved the beautiful hibiscus flowers that are in pots outside the rooms. These are my favorite flavors and I've never seen them in those colors before.
Breakfast is served from 7:30-10 am in the other part of the building. They had homemade mini quiche ( ham and cheddar) or Feta and Spinach, hard boiled eggs, homemade carrot cake like muffins, toast, fresh fruit. Breakfast was delicious. They did rotate the flavors of quiches available each breakfast. The ladies working breakfast were very friendly.
The staff was super nice and friendly. Great location and within walking distance to many activities and restaurants. One restaurant we went to twice was Branos Italian restaurant. It was less than a 10 minute walk from here.
From about 9 am-11 am you can see the parrots hanging out on their perches. We saw them on our way to breakfast. Very chill birds.
During our stay we visited the Kennedy Space Center and got an Uber ride to it from the hotel. A very neat place to visit that is about a 25 minute ride away. Otherwise if you want to stay more local there are plenty of activities to do near the bed and breakfast.
Overall very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again for a...
Read moreThis is a special little gem in Cocoa Beach! I've stayed down the beach at the Hilton a few times and had a fun time at the tiki, but wanted to try something different for a long weekend solo getaway to relax and maybe work a little. The photos don't do this place justice but I'll try to tell you more about it.
When I arrived the ambience was elegant and serene. Dim lighting, cute little dog on the desk, gracious staff to show me around, help with luggage and offer suggestions for a late dinner. I immediately knew I'd found my spot. It feels like a comfortable but bougie European B&B with breakfast and wine included and the most fantastically equipped honor bar, lovely for a late night beer or cocktails by the pool.
I went for one of the basic rooms which was not huge but beautifully furnished. The balcony had wonderful rocking chairs and a view of the immaculate courtyard and pool area as well as a peekaboo view of the sunrise over the beach. Tiny but adequate bathroom, comfy bed with plenty of pillows, classy decor, simple set-up and very quiet environment. Saturday morning I was at the sparkling pool early and enjoyed it all by myself for hours. The furniture was beautiful and perfect and everything was meticulously maintained. The honor bar came in handy since rooms don't have refrigerators. Who cares. I was delighted sipping vodka spritzers all afternoon by the pool.
The staff was consistently friendly, professional and kind. They will loan you beach chairs and suggest restaurants, etc. It's actually made even more enjoyable because smoking, kids and pets are not allowed. Gosh it was awesome.
Honestly, I missed breakfast every day but heard it was delightful and homemade. There are larger rooms available and I'd definitely choose that if I was traveling with someone. This is a pretty place that is centrally located and would be great for couples or a girls weekend (which I am planning immediately).
Also, definitely swing by the Hilton tiki bar for cocktails and plan on Florida Fresh Grill for dinner at least once. Both have charming bartenders and great food. This time we also went to Fat Snook. Get a reservation. It's the best. I loved the Inn at Cocoa Beach sp much, and can't wait to...
