Terrible, the customer service at this location is horrible. We went in just about :28 minutes ago and the service was so bad that I’m typing this review as soon as we got home. We only needed a few things so we figured we’d pop in after dinner at a restaurant close by. I had a scratch off lottery ticket to cash so we figured one of us cash the ticket and the other grab the few items that we need. We walked in and there were a few employees standing near the entrance so I walked over and asked if the lottery counter was open and they looked at each other as if in was asking if a rocket ship was landindinv in the parking lot. Clueless and never addressed me directly, the customer, but rather looked at each other with total confusion. The manager, short red / brown hair guy with a half sleeve tattoo walked by (looking like he hated his life) and when one of them asked him as I was standing there and he too never acknowledged me, walked by and as he was staring at the ground and said “no”. Kept walking. As we were shopping there just an overall sense of we need to grab what we need and get out. They are ready to leave even though they are still open for another hour. I am not surprised at all that there are TWO Publix open within two miles on either side that are always busy and the employees there actually seem happy and act as if they care about...
Read moreLove Love love the ladies in the deli & hot food counter!! They are always so nice and helpful. I'm on medical restricted clear liquid diet currently so my husband is trying to refrain from cooking/grilling as much until I'm able to enjoy it as well. They cook a brisket on Sundays and she just cleaned it up. Another customer said he wanted 2lbs. I was getting my husband's deli meat for his lunches. I asked him if he wanted me to get some of the Brisket for him & told him how delicious it has been previously. So I got him a taste & he LOVED IT! He decided he would absolutely take some. I went back to the deli and asked. They only had the small bowl left, so I settled for that amount and felt bad that I couldn't get him more for the week. We're doing our shopping, which always ends up being more than intended. Lol. She came looking for us in the aisles to let us know the other customer didn't want it anymore due to not realizing the price, which it's very much worth the price and then some. So, we accepted the delicious, perfect moisture, flavor & burt ends without a second thought. That made the day!! My husband was impressed with the fact she knew we really wanted more and sought us out when the situation changed. I would recommend my Winn-Dixie a thousand times over. Thank you ladies & keep on making the...
Read moreVisited Winn Dixie today to do some shopping as I am visiting the area on vacation. I asked the Produce Clerk if we would get sale pricing despite not having a store savings card. We were told “yes, absolutely “. Fast forward to the check out line with at least $60.00 worth of groceries in our cart. First of all no greeting of any kind or eye contact. After ringing up a portion of our order we were asked for our savings card. - still no greeting of any kind. After saying we didn’t have one but were told that we would get the sale prices we were abruptly told “no, the Produce guy doesn’t work up here “. At this point my brother in law and me decided to walk out. Very disappointing experience. Collectively my brother in law and me have over 70 years experience in the grocery trade and I couldn’t imagine turning business away for such a petty reason. Stores are entitled to have policies but to turn customers away in an industry that is incredibly competitive is befuddling to me. No worries though , Publix took care of our needs. Complete head scratcher why you’d treat a paying...
