So many PAID REVIEWS on here...Total joke. No live music for starters...thanks for the 5 star review... hope to see you again soon! This is for the "safe space" crowd. Also a great place for people struggling with mental issues and recovering addicts looking for the wagon to get back on. It's a "tea" house. Now its not necessary to work the corners in Cocoa with Tyeds. Other Kava locations and bars in the area have a zero narcotic tolerance as they should. Tyeds is the go to for anyone who disagrees with such policies. Great business opportunity to build a rehab facility next door for anyone considering. Dont be fooled by the pictures posted online. Everything served here is in plastic cups and majority of the menu is not available or changed according to staff. Look on bitesquad.com for close to what they claim to have besides a room full of kombucha. Fake photos, fake reviews, fake people. Made the mistake of visiting twice. Same scene each time. Very cult like for obvious reasons. Owner with glasses was very defensive and dismissive when asked if what goes on is "normal" there inbetween taking shots in the back and blaming the smells on the Jamaican place next door. Filthy restrooms with empty pill bottles. Cigarette butts and beer cans all over the back parking lot. Avoid and try other Kava locations that are alcohol and narcotic free and family oriented that do have what is advertised. Island Root is a great suggestion. Or Kloud. Didn't feel safe here and had females with us that were threatened in the...
Read moreReview from a mom…. I have to say I was concerned when my 20 year old starting talking about this place and coming home very late at night. So after a few months I decided to check it out for myself. She invited me to come with her on a Saturday night. The place was packed and we had to park next door.
Upon entering there are comfortable couches and chairs and some of the people were coupled up snuggling or watching the huge TV, some were playing cards or other games. There are pool tables in the back and I think I saw some arcade games. There was also a band playing this night, the music was great. All this is FREE!
All the people there were friendly young and older, some had their dogs with them. Most of the crowd looked in the 20 range. There is a big tea bar for non alcoholic drinks. You can bring in your own food at this one, I was told. This place reminds me of Eric’s basement on that 70’s show where they all hung out, just need that freezer full of popsicles.
I wish I had a place like this when I was their age. The only thing I could suggest is maybe a bouncer just a case, you never know what might happen.
Final thoughts…. Buy some tea, tip those workers well and support...
Read moreThey are always coming up with awesome flavors of teas and kava. Owner's are great guys. Highly recommend.
Edit. My original review was from 10 months ago. Today is 5/23/22
Dont listen to the guy who gave this place a 1 star review and has 1 review on his account total, this person obviously has a grudge against someone here. With that being said..
I have witnessed everything from birthday partys to fundraising events for lost friends. Ive seen people help others fix their cars in the parking lot. Ive seen people come in having their "worst day ever" and have that turned around and leave smiling. I have lived in 5 states and have traveled to 45 states and never in my life have I witnessed such a community as they have at Tyeds. People from all walks of life come here and get along better than most families I know.
The owners Ty and Eddie have gone above and beyond with what they have accomplished with opening Tyed's. They probably had no idea that this place would turn into something so amazing in this community.
The entire staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable about their products and you will probably run into Ty and or Eddie if you stop in. You can judge for...
