I went through the drive thru and wanted to try the new "Very Berry" frosty. When I tasted it, it tasted like soap and chemicals. I asked the heavy set light skinned black girl with extremely long braids if the frosty was supposed to taste that way. She said she doesn't eat berries but the other employees think it tastes like yogurt. I asked if the frosty could be replaced or exchanged for something different. She said she couldn't do anything because I tasted it. How am I supposed to know if something is off with the frosty if I didn't taste it. Then the girl at the window told me to pay for a new one instead. So I asked for a manager. The girl at the window said she was the manager. I asked if they tasted the food for quality and she said she doesn't have to taste it because things have expiration dates. I told her that the trucks could malfunction and the food could spoil and you not know immediately if a dairy product has been sitting in heat for a couple hours then rechilled. She proceeds to tell me to pay for the replacement. I looked at her confused and asked... So you could serve me a cleaning solution and there's nothing you could do about it? Then she began to get upset and try to make me purchase a second frosty to replace the soapy one and for the third time I declined. She then tells me it's protocol to make me buy a new one instead replacing or making a new frosty of a different flavor. Then she offered a refund. Why sit in the drive thru for five minutes and tell me there is nothing you can do when you could have offered the refund immediately? The manager that works around 4pm is awful and unprofessional. I wish I read the reviews before I came to this one. I don't know what kind of taste buds the employees have there, but if they could mistake soapy milk sanitizer bucket flavor with an after thought of berry as yogurt.... There's definitely a quality control problem that is being burdened to the customers. Also the fries were cold in my husband's meal and the spicy BBQ nuggets were dry. They looked like they took a half of a sauce cup and tried to make it stretch over all the nuggets. Way to steal from your customers Wendys. I won't be going to...
